The trailer looks amazing and I'm excited to see the new ways we can mod finishers and the artefact :)

Eververse will sell finisher moves for silver.
-
Everyone will get the base finishers, eververse will only be for cosmetic items, which is how it should be, most stuff is available for bright dust anyway so it doesn't matter.

Each character gets 1 finisher move, the rest can be purchased from Eververse using silver.
-
Okay, send me a link to where they say that it will be a silver exclusive then?

“We thought of it as combat emotes,” said Noseworthy. Players will likely earn the cosmetic finishing moves the same way they do with emotes: through the Eververse store or a rare unlock for a difficult in-game challenge. But players can only earn the mods that give combat bonuses by playing Destiny 2. It doesn't say anywhere in the forbes or polygon article that they will be silver exclusive.

Read the headline "Shadowkeep finishers are microtransactions"
-
If you read the polygon article that the Forbes one paraphrased they said it would be earn't the same way as emotes which are in bright engrams and earn't from triumphs. You should try going to the actual source and quotes rather than reading the secondhand information. https://www.polygon.com/interviews/2019/7/12/20691850/destiny-2-shadowkeep-how-to-finishing-move-final-blow-finisher-mod-assassination-system

Once SK goes live, hit up Eververse from the Director screen. Additional finishers will available to buy with silver on day 1.
The trailer looks amazing and I'm excited to see the new ways we can mod finishers and the artefact :)
The ‘artifact’ is a worse version of a battle pass where you gain minuscule perks with XP but keep nothing after the season ends. The finishers are yet another scam paywalled in eververse.

Every season you'll get a new artefact with different powerful perks to explore to replace the last seasons. They did say popular perks would be returning though if the community liked them.
-
I mean if you saw the trailer the perks are very useful, it allows you to add extra mods to finishing moves and weapons. They already stated everyone would get the base finishing moves for free and did not specify where you would gain additional ones (or even if there would be additional ones).

As for artefacts, even if they are somewhat ‘useful,’ they are still seasonal, so they disappear right after a season ends making the work to getting them ultimately pointless. Thus, they have far less value than the current bright engrams/dust which you get to keep. This says a lot about the direction Destiny is going in.

It's only the look of finishers that is eververse exclusive.
