(Floor level 11, Group 2.) (Tempatures rise within the oasis, the sun's shine grows stronger, the waves from the beach become bigger as a high tide sets in, loss of hope......is inevitable.) (Suddendly, as Pyrus sleeps under a thick palm tree, trying to stay out of the sun's heat, his eyes open widely and are bloodshot. Sitting up as his eyes begin to throb with excruciating pain, Pyrus's nose begins to bleed a black blood like substance, and his body shake rapidly. Standing up and breathing heavily from his nerves, Pyrus attempts to walk back towards camp where his team is but, the world around him begins to spin and shake. Spinning faster and faster until Pyrus loses his footing and falls face first into the sandy ground.) (With all his strength, Pyrus lifts his face from the ground and suddenly, a shadow falls upon his body. Eyes barely managing to adjust from the spinning, Pyrus lifts his head and notices a figure standing before him, dressed in a shiny teal color medieval knight armor, long green cape on his back with the symbol of the Crescent Darkmoon, and a great sword in his right hand that glows with cosmic purple energy.) ???: *grabs Pyrus and lifts his head up from the ground*. "Well, with Tenza's plan going into affect, this is a perfect time to have some fun." Pyrus: *lifts his hand and grabs ahold of the knights arm that holds his head*. "You're messing.....with....the wrong people..." ???: *releases his grip on Pyrus and lets him fall to the ground*. "My kingdom has yet to be built. An offering to the Moon Presence you all shall become. And, when the war is over, the strongest of the divine will be weak. A perfect moment for myself to swoop in and gain control." Pyrus: *shakes his head and wipes his nose*. "You speak nonsense. Who the hell even are you?!" ???: "Why even ask? You'll be dead soon enough." (Jumping out from the bushes, StoneFlare draws his massive greatsword and slams it down upon the shoulder of the unknown knight figure.) StoneFlare: "Get the hell out of here Pyrus! Leave this dude to me." Pyrus: *stumbles to his feet*. "Are you insane?! We need to regroup with the other's for the better numbers!" ???: *adjusts his shoulder*. "You won't make it...." StoneFlare: *notices he dealt zero damage to the knight's shoulder armor and shivers as he begins to lose his cool*. "Uh....shi-shit..." ???: *glares towards Stone*. "What's wrong human? Your self confidence just dropped really fast. Do I, scare you?" StoneFlare: *grips his sword with both his hands*. "I'm not scared! Just..... weighing my options..." ???: "Hah! The words of a weakling, I can feel it in your voice. A shame you aren't a female, their screams are so pleasant compared to men." StoneFlare: "Shut up!" (Without having any of his abilities yet, Stone charges straight for the knight with his greatsword and swings wildly. Reading and easily being able to dodge the swings, the knight grabs Stone's sword mid swing and slashes his face with a nasty counter attack, almost slicing his face off.) StoneFlare: *let's go of his sword and falls to his knees from the wound*. "Ugh.....wha....no..." ???: *tosses Stone's sword into the bushes*. "Heh, I don't want to kill you kids so soon, so, I'll make things easier for you." (Raising his glowing weapon into the air above him, the knight activates a spinning number slot machine like ability. Rolling a 2 on his sword, a massive earthquake erupts in the oasis, shaking the ground and causing trees to fall all around.) ???: *glances back over to Pyrus and Stone*. "That should help you out some, if you survive." (As Pyrus and Stone look back over to where the enemy was standing, he isn't there anymore, gone like the wind.) Tierra: *runs out towards Pyrus and Stone with Loot by her side*. "Woah! What did y'all get into?" Loot: *examines Stone's wound*. "Hm, you should survive that cut. However, we need to stop the bleeding somehow..." StoneFlare: *pushes Loot away*. "Get away from me dude.......we don't have a healer, we don't even have abilities." (Suddendly, the conversation is dead silent, the air is still, and the sound of rushing water can be heard from out in the ocean.) Pyrus: *looks to Loot*. "Is that what I think it is?!" Loot: *stands up and takes a deep breath to calm his nerves*. "That earthquake.....oh shit!" (As soon as Loot realizes, a massive wave of water crashes through the oasis island, pulling everyone under and submerging the entire island under the water.) (Pyrus opens his eyes as he slowly sinks, the water from the tsunami rising continuously as if it is trying to reach the sky above. Coming to his senses and looking around the clear water, Pyrus manages to locate Stone's body, unconscious from the head wound and the impact of the wave.) (Quickly swimming over, Pyrus grabs ahold of Stone and swims as fast as he can to the surface, struggling to hold his breath and feeling the pain in his stomach.) (As Pyrus reaches the top of the water, still holding on to Stone, he notices the water is pressed against the roof of the floor level. It is as it seems, the sky was fake and unfortunately, without a pocket of air as Pyrus reaches the ceiling, not enough strength to bust through, Pyrus begins to lose consciousness and his grip on Stone, loosens as he begins to die.) ----------------------------------------------------------- (3 hours later.) Pyrus: *opens his eyes, head resting on Tierra's lap*. "Ugh.....did we make it?" Tierra: *places her hand on Pyrus's forehead, keeping his eyes closed*. "Don't worry, we're safe. Insane managed to unlock his ability as some people were dying and saved us from the water." Pyrus: *slowly lifts his head up and looks around the area*. "Where are we now?". *Pyrus asks curiously*. Insane: *sitting nearby on a wooden bench*. "Floor 12 it seems. There's a sign next to a stone door that reads it outside of this safe room." Pyrus: *looks around the small carpeted bedroom that Insane said was a safe room*. "So we're resting here?" Insane: *nods*. "A couple of the other's are checking out the area beyond the stone door to floor 12. No clue what it is right now as I didn't go." Pyrus: *looks down to Tierra's lap*. "Hm...." Tierra: *gets up and let's Pyrus's head drop to the floor*. "Heh." Pyrus: *rubs the back of his head*. "Ouch..." Insane: "Well, if you two are healthy, we should join the other's now." Tierra: *nods*. "I'm ready." Pyrus: "Yeah, what she said." (Pyrus, Tierra, and Insane exit the safe room and head through the stone door leading to Floor 12. For now, the design remains a mystery.) ----------------------------------------------------------- (Earth. Current year: 212. Near the Earth's core, inside a large laboratory like bunker, Ronin's hideout.) Ozark: *blasts open the door to the bunker with an energy cannon on his arm and walks inside*. "Hey Ronin! Where you at?!" Ronin: *walks out from another room and throws white surgical gloves to the ground*. "What the hell are you doing here? Did Caius even say you could come here?" Ozark: *examines Ronin's appearance*. "Are you creating something from your own life essence? You look exhausted." Ronin: *reaches for his katana on his back*. "I'm gonna to only tell you this once.......get out." Ozark: *glares towards Ronin with his bird like eyes*. "Heh, Tenza sends her regards." (End of Part 2)
