Gambit Prime weapon drop rates are WAY too low
I keep on going into Prime games and Reckoning......But itll take multiple hours to even get a weapon! Bungie, please in some patch in the future (preferably soon) up the drop chances of them please

Tier 3 reckoning should guarantee a legendary drop. This would allow god rolls to remain pretty rare (especially given the current state of reckoning) but make the weapons themselves actually obtainable for most people.

Bruh, season of drifter would have been awesome had they stuck to the formula they used for the forges. Grab the gun bounty you want and get the weapon to drop. I'd be grinding my ass off in reckoning for a spare rations if I could get the guaranteed drop each completion.

Strange, i get alot more drops in prime and reckoning....normal gambit on the other hand is really bad for me. Bygones drops are 1 for 3 resets so far, i have had 4 drops in 12 resets not counting the curated you could buy back when.

6 RepliesI honestly feel like I get a decent amount of gambit weapons between prime and reckoning. Not always the best rolls but they do drop often for me. Maybe I am just lucky there. You want to talk about shit drop rates let’s visit 1k and anarchy. Took me 30+ last wish runs to get my first. I’m at 20+ scourge with no drop. I don’t expect everything to drop first try but there needs to be a balance. Don’t buff it to an easy handout and don’t nerf it so almost no one gets it. Imo that is what destiny 2 struggles with... balance. They swing the hammer one way or the other.

I don’t if it’s just me or what but I’ve never had a problem getting most guns that I wanted I usually get a GP weapon around my 3rd tier 3 reckoning match and it only took me about a week or two to get all the exotic armor for my warlock I only play for about 4 hours a day

It’s better than it was but they’re still at a low drop rate. I’ve gotten a couple nice rolls on the scout, SMG and sniper. Other weapons barely drop for me. I want the shotty with one two punch but only got one drop. Fortunately it rolled with grave robber and swashbuckler. I’m not sure what the logic is with low drop rates this far out from season of the drifter. Makes no sense.

31 RepliesCan't find anyone to play reckoning any more, but in my 200+ matches in Prime, there is a gun I haven't seen once - Spare Rations. I got all others all right, multiple copies even, but this is elusive as fvck. I just can't stand it any more, and after getting Hush (s'more Prime matches) I stopped playing.

It's so bizarre that the fixes for Prime (up weapon drop rates significantly) and Reckoning (remove the timer) are so easy and yet they just ignore all the feedback while the modes die. This is the kind of thing that keeps me from ordering Shadowkeep because I think they are slowly falling back into their old ways again.
