Iron banner is bad
Gear way to long to get and may not be what you what. Tokens are only for weapons. No armor for ranking up only guns after each game and cheating only makes it harder

It’s just another example of if it’s not broke then don’t fix it. Iron banner was fine in d1 and in my opinion much better than how it’s done in d2. Same with the factions and trials. But bungie wanted to innovate where no innovation was needed to now we have this mess of an iron banner that almost nobody I ask likes, factions which were so bad that bungie took them out of the game, and trials which was removed so it could be innovated some more since that worked so well last time bungie tried it.

I love it I actually get weapons to drop now instead of getting weeb samurai armor every season. The only thing I’m missing is a god roll claws of the wolf.

No Quick Play is bad... Iron Banner is great 😎👍 D2 IB Weapons aren't as good as D1... But the armor with enhanced perks is great...

2 RepliesThe loot system is broken, because Bungie has basically destroyed the role that IB used to fill in Destiny 1. The actual game play is a refreshign change from the pub-stomping of quickplay.

Made even worse by whatever the recent update did to the matchmaking/balancing mechanics. They've changed things under the hood before without telling, probably done it again, or something broke. If I weren't so close to completing the armour set I'm not sure I'd bother.

3 RepliesIt’s been fine with me. For some strange reason I can be consistently at or near the top with IB. QP is a garbage fire. Comp sbmm is broken. And as for weapons verses armor. I’d choose a weapon over armor 9 out 10 times.

I also miss that there is just weapons to buy at Saladin. Better than that RNG bs that will never ever give me the weapon I want.

They undid everything that Rise of Iron set out to do and decided to take 10 steps back in general for the whole game. Now it's just as bad as ever because the loot is extremely generic and D2 has rampant metas that make PVP in general just not good. Know why I'm playing IB now? So I can save tokens and [b]PRAY[/b] that Bungie is smart enough to have new IB weapons and perks when Shadowkeep drops. If they don't, and they still bring it around... it's dead content. People will play for those oversaturated powerful rewards and stop when they beat them because Shadowkeep is going to have funner and fresher things to do. I wouldn't mind getting a Wizened Rebuke with demolitionist and not-garbage perks, but it's not a priority in any sense of the term.
