Glimmer Cap Raise
So I'm capped out on glimmer again, I go to Spider to unload some for mats, but he's not offering anything in exchange for glimmer today. Either raise the glimmer cap, or stop this from happening at Spider. Alternatively, give us another place we can unload glimmer for mats.

I love when he sells stuff for glimmer or spiral. They need more rotations like this. But most if the time you have to buy his stuff for shards. It's not balanced.

2 RepliesJust remove all the caps. Why can I only have 5 tinctures, why do gambit coins stack to a max of 20, why do Rasputin keys max out at 7. A max cap ruins the idea of farming. It only extends the farm by making it tedious.

I personally think the current cap is fine. Glimmer is common enough and so are legendary shards to buy from spider when it’s that (Which is very often). Some people are doing it wrong.

There would be so many performance issues if they raised the glimmer cap.

Maybe also add a 'quantity' selector to conversions. As it is now, i just convert I get tired of pushing the button....

1 ReplyAt a loss,you can buy the Zavala ship and vault space it for later break down back into glimmer. I agree the economy in d2 is still broken. (Wonder if the moderators are still hunting me?)

All they'll do is increase the prices of items. It'll solve nothing.

I just let is sit at 100K until I need them, regular players have plenty of materials, shards etc.. there is no use of going to spider to spend them for things that we don't need. And if I need a lot I am simply annoyed that I have to go to spiders to trade mats for glimmer. The 100K is to low and it is not holding us back, it is only annoying us. Just like flaying to the tower for a next quest step adds nothing and is one annoying to all. But hey Bungie likes to annoy us :)

4 RepliesI miss having ways to store "glimmer" in your vault like you were able to do in D1. For those you don't know, there used to be glimmer consumables you'd randomly get from killing enemies. You were able to stock pile these consumables in your vault or inventory to hold on to when you needed it.

8 Repliesi dont know if many people know about this but once i normally hit glimmer cap i tend to buy the vanguard ship from hitting rank 50 in warmind because it costs 7500 glimmer and a few shards to buy and you get 5k glimmer back once dismantling it, there are other items you can do this with but this is the only one i know of so far

Half of me agrees and half of me thinks that if they raised the cap they would just raise the price of everything so we'd just be adding extra work to get more glimmer. Maybe the cap keeps prices low, as frustrating as it is.

also give more glimmer and planet mats for activities like strikes, patrols, adventures etc.
