2 RepliesYes thanks, Steam is the most hacker friendly platform on pc. All those people thanking Bungie now will be crying in a few months. Have fun in the crucible!!!
-
8 RepliesFor those who claimed that having Destiny 2 PC on Battle.net would stop cheaters (it didn't, as Destiny 2 did NOT use the Battle.net anticheat protection), you have even less to say now that Destiny 2 is going to be on STEAM.
-
47 RepliesI would prefer Epic Store. They support their creators and have a better layout. Steam is hot garbage.
-
11 RepliesThanks! We're excited to be on the Steam platform.

3 RepliesEdited by $hirtless Captain Kirk: 6/8/2019 1:38:23 PMHad a lot of direct experience with Epic employees in the mid 2000's. Some were great, a few are total tools. I'm one of those guys mad that Gears of War ever existed and they dropped the Unreal Tournament/Championship series. Epic died to me in about 2007.

Just wait. Something might happen with the way epic has been
-
While I do approve of Destiny moving to Steam instead of Epic, you have to remember a good amount of peoples’ first game client was Epic because of Fortnite. Shutting them out is a shame, but...
It is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
2 RepliesSteam=Light Epic store=Darkness
-
2 RepliesI’m not a fan of Luke Smith, but he did make me laugh when he implied they were moving to Epic, but then said Steam like that.
-
GabeN also can't count higher than 3.
-
1 ReplyIt genuinely scared me in the stream when they said something about a “new epic partner” I was shaking my head saying please no and they made me so scared for those few moments XD
-
Valve and Epic are both shady-ass companies. Epic selling data that they mine from your system, Valve jumping in to copyright every mod on the planet and release it as a sequel, then taking community-produced content to sell in loot boxes, all the while not actually doing anything, just sitting back and reaping rewards. Steam is a decent platform at least, the Epic launcher is barely usable.
-
one really small problem about it all steam game uses steam ui, therefore you can inject code into the game, mmm sweet hacks are coming
-
3 RepliesAnyone else have a momentary drop in their stomach when Luke Smith said they needed, “an epic partner?”
-
32 RepliesThe best part was when Luke Smith said "Some would say we need to find an epic partner." I was scared for a second before I realized it was a joke.
-
First Halo Master Chief Collection and now Destiny! Is nice!
-
I would’ve 100% quit destiny if epic became a platform for it, no way, no how, just...no
-
2 RepliesI'm kind of surprised since Epic seems to be taking less of a cut, meaning more money for the developers than Steam, but good call Bungie.
-
1 ReplyWhat happens to my friends list? Will I have to add everyone back?
-
5 Repliesthey may not be involved with the epic spyware store, but google is a lot worse.
-
1 ReplyVarHyid You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

1 ReplyThey could pull the old switch-a-roo
-
They both just said thank you to each other
-
1 ReplyEpic is a great launcher, they have been giving a free game away each week. I may never play them but i download them anyway cause free is free. Ive gotten about $75 worth of free games from them so far.
-
1 ReplyI'm just glad that it's on steam so that way destiny is in no way associated with fortnite.
-
2 RepliesThis. Muh gawd i'm still waiting for certain games to leave the Epic Store. I can't believe I have to wait 6 months post BL3 release for it to be on Steam.
