6 RepliesIs this all this season is? A raid designed to be a race? And then what? Exotic quests that make you do pointless things, a boring event and more iron banner? Already went through an entire season of gambit, what could be worse than that...?

You want to make the worlds first more fair but give people who play the most within 6 hours in middle of a workday a large advantage You also dont separate PC worlds first from console when they have huge advantages including faster load zones and inventory swapouts alongside other bonuses You want a fair worlds first? Drop it on a weekend at power 700 and separate PC and console world firsts What you'll have is way more players being light level ready and have time plus theres a reason to attempt it on console. Will that change that it will probably still likely be 1 of 5 teams (slayerage, redeem, datto, tier 1 or luminous) who gets it PC wise? Probably not. But it would still be more fair if that's what you are really going for.

7 RepliesLuke Smith: makes the world's first race fair and gives you 6 hours to get the best gear and go in Fans: wtf man why should we care this season is all eververse and the stupid race we don't know anything else about the season other than the nerfs and that calus is involved but I'm gonna throw a temper tantrum in the forums. Me: Yes, some the nerfs weren't appropriate, Bungie K N O W S. But this is a message to make their game fair and not a contest to see who has planned and grinded the most old content for the new content. That is why LW and SotP are being locked. Why completed powerful bounties from last season don't work. Why the contest modifier exists. And stop making assumptions when the ViDoc hasn't even released yet.

4 RepliesI sure hope this quest isn't just your attempt to waste the time of guardians who took the time to level up and prepare for the raid so that guardians who quit playing and are under level could catch up. That would be really f***ed up. If we spend more than 15 minutes on the quest and don't get any kind of substantial power drop that will be the end of me paying for any game or season pass of any kind from you ever again. Doing that would be the biggest f*** you that you could give us. It is sad that I have a strong feeling this is exactly the shit you will pull. It really doesn't say much for your company and people having any integrity as human beings. I sure hope I am wrong but we will see.

4 RepliesDon’t understand why so many are upset, the worlds first won’t take long at most a few hours for the first team to complete. I’ll be spending those hours playing through the main content of opulence rather than waiting for the raids to unlock. Why is everyone upset about this?

Find it hard to care about this. Wow, on a Tuesday, can’t wait for the heated race for the Worlds First... blah. If Bungie really wanted to make it a competition they would start this party on a Saturday morning or late on a Friday night... that way commoners could realistically compete against their precious streamers/pros or whatever you want to call them. No one CARES if a group of professional gamers can get through it quick. Involve the average player and then you have something... what you have now is forgettable and I guarantee the majority of us could care less about this. Here’s an idea, drop this unnecessary “thing” and get control of your game, stop nerfing shit. Ridiculous.

2 RepliesEven Blizzard realized this is the wrong way to release Raids. Release them a week or two after you increase light levels and open the raid at an appropriate time or it's not a fair race at all. Why go through all this work of messing with light levels when the best answer would have been to just release it later or not increase light levels. I usually stick up for you guys but your lack of programming skills is really starting to show. Do you have 1 person working on the hard stuff for D3? You better fix that. You're going to make a LOT of money for D3, please invest it into better manpower. Thanks.

1 ReplyNobody cares about World's First because it's still gonna end up being Redeem or another team that has done world's first. We're not going to try for it. We might jump in, look around a bit and say "hmm, not worth it" before hopping off and playing a game developed by Bungie's competitors, but why waste the effort when it is going to boil down to the same people as always? It took Redeem about 19 hours to do Last Wish. While Scourge was a pathetic 2 hours with Tier1, it had mechanics so basic that it was more like a glorified strike or Zero Hour mission than it was a raid. Especially with that revive token controversy. All this is really doing is promoting -blam!-, really. GG, hope y'all have fun watching someone else do the raid.

The problem was you were throttling legit players, And streams were hoarding and glitch leveling. The raid should launch 9pm on a Friday or Saturday.

So Cozmo use this as a example of feedback when you talk to the people pretending they understand their own game. O upvotes on a OMFG we got a new raid. Then show them the 6200 upvotes of the OMFG we got a new nerf post. How anyone can not notice how to actually fix their own game and their companies trustworthiness is humorously pathetic. Bring back the actual fun, let people play the way they want, don't have all the artificial time wasters for a crap reward just to pretend we have content to play. 4 Repliesso, we have nerf after nerf and then the next twab is basically all about worlds first and ever verse. can't wait to see the next twab about all the rest of the nerfs coming. comminity would like, new strikes, pvp maps, factions at minimum equal to d1, reworking of unused exotics and much more. I have a feeling this is not going to happen and we are stuck with what we have, indefinitely, while d3 is being developed. please tell me I'm wrong.

Would have been a cool idea for a "fair fight" a long time ago. Message from a no lifer who wished for a shot at worlds firs against all 'exploits' that you apparently enjoy watching players find: I dont care anymore. You have recycled so many weapons and ignored so many core experience issues that i cant bother to imagine getting excited about a content drop with unwanted gear reductions almost across the board because you cannot seem to fathom the idea of balancing your game against the powers you give us. You give us exploited powers to use for a temporary time period and when they eat to the core of the game you chop off their balls rather than offer new, innovative challenges that require new tools. You....kinda suck.
