This would make content bearable again the drop rate on ammo types are questionable at best

Just let us place raid banners in more places.
-
2 RepliesRaid banners are fine. Synths arnt needed.
-
more crap in our slow inventory? no thank you. this game is slow enough from the begining
-
No, we already have too much crap in our inventories as it is.
-
They removed them after Destiny and have no interest in their return . Built the entire game on nothing any military would do, and it failed. Let it fail...
-
1 ReplyYou can setup your armor for better drops.
-
They need to add a way to access them without opening the inventory if they're going to add them back, i'd suggest holding down on the d-pad to bring up a consumables wheel that you can add consumables to in order to easily access them.
-
How much easier do you need this game to be ? Even if they make infinite heavy, people will still complain it’s too hard.
-
Just add raid banners in more places. Starting with full heavy is one thing, but just hiding in a corner refreshing your heavy every few minutes is another. Hard pass. This game is already too easy.

1 ReplySynths - NO - Easy mode engaged. Rally - Yes. (All Events)
-
Why, I like the big ole 1 heavy synths on the wall running a story mission, or how Bungie throttles heavy amo in certain events . My favorite though, is the special primary ammo finders. I wouldnt know what to do without it. All jokes aside, PvE needs to be more challenging using machines and since its not. Taking heavy ammo away was their solution.
-
Edited by Mercury: 5/14/2019 3:05:04 AMAlternatively we could have rally’s for all activities? Synths would be nice though
-
3 RepliesThe only problem with ammo synths is that you will have to open your menu to use them. The load times for these menus are ridiculously long. They will be extremely difficult to use in any sort of event. Ammo drops, and ammo finder perks, are a sad joke in Destiny.
-
1 ReplyI’d be okay with that. Not like anybody would be forced to use them in a PvE activity if they don’t like them. Though I do think that at the very least, we should start off any PvE activity with maximum ammo. I mean come on...are our guardians really stupid enough to enter a battle zone without first topping off their ammo?
-
Edited by dano the hippie: 5/13/2019 11:04:32 PMYes! Then map an item to a dpad button. That would be great!
then put in pvp and break that crap...
-
Agreed tired of pure rng on my ammo. And who needs primary ammo finder on armor? How often do people actually run out of primary ammo?
-
Changes like this would also make me less inclined to seek out armour pieces with Heavy/Special Ammo Finder and actually experiment with different perks instead.
-
2 RepliesI don't think they are needed at all. That said, I DO think that you should start with full ammo whenever you start PvE activities that do not have any kickoff mechanic such as Strikes (including Nightfalls) and Forges. I just don't see any reason why that couldn't be done. Even activities like Whisper, Zero Hour and Shattered Throne should start you off with full ammo. I also think that there should be a spot to drop a Raid Banner whenever there is a kickoff mechanic (Boss fights in the Shattered Throne for example).
-
Well remember in year one they said no ammo synths because heavy ammo would drop more and almost always from higher level enemies...then year two, no ammo synths and no ammo drops. They love love love to make the game more of a grind and job then a grind but fun
-
The heavy ammo finder perk on armor should be reworked. Something like multi kills / precision drop ammo or something to that effect. Make it a guarantee if you do a certain thing. I did do a little experiment yesterday. I had two heavy ammo and two special ammo finder perks on my loadout. If I had a special ammo weapon equipped, heavy ammo would barely drop if not at all. If I equipped two primary ammo weapons I was getting more heavy than I could use. 🤔🤔🤔

3 RepliesThey should be available for PvP too

3 RepliesEdited by lINVICTUSIl: 5/13/2019 12:27:13 PMI don’t think heavy ammo synths are needed but I do think the raid banners should be spread throughout more pve activities. For example: At the start of zero hour. The start of nightfalls. At the start of the whisper. I have also noticed that certain heavy ammo finders drop more heavy ammo than others, and it’s not specific to the armour piece, to complicate things further. For example I have two heavy ammo finder helmets on my hunter. 1 with HC targeting 1 with Auto rifle / MG targeting The 1 with auto rifle / MG targeting drops heavy ammo at an exponentially faster rate than the other helmet. And to complicate things even further than that, if I don’t wear other pieces of specific armour (chest , arms, legs) it can have an effect on just how much that heavy ammo finder works. Unfortunately I have no calculated proof, just a lot of experience testing the heavy ammo finder perk. If bungie cared to look into this and fix the drop rate as static by fixing any coding that could have a detrimental effect to what is happening with this perk. There would be no need for any of these heavy ammo synths or even raid banners, if the perk worked the way they intended it to!

1 ReplyThats what armaments are for. Or should we all just keep using heavy synths during Gambit matches?
-
-
More places to set raid banners. Takes ages to open the inventory on console.
-
I think they have gone the right route with the raid banners, just need to add them more activities rather then bring back synths, at least you dont need to.go.in your inventory to activate them
