I understand Bungie doesn't have a good track record with keeping the sandbox balanced, but whining over every minor conflict in PvP won't change anything. It happened with almost every single archetype in D1 (AR's, HC's, Shotguns, Snipers, and even special ammo as a whole). Y1 D2 started of on the wrong foot with the double primary loadout, and it was due to mixed signals from the community. It happened again with shotguns and the pinnacle handcannons, and in my opinion it needs to stop. Crying for a nerf will only worsten the sandbox, and we should look to improve other archetypes and weapons rather than bringing the best guns to the ground. LH and NF was OP, yes, but the tweak was far too extreme. If it was a 150 precision RPM with an untouched Mag Howl perk, I would be happy as the perk made the gun powerful, not the archetype. Now it would barely be able to compete with TLW and Ace, especially on PC. The point is I understand there are people that abuse the powers of certain high-level weapons and supers by using mods, or running a 4-6 man, but you can't go crying "NERF" every time. Consider the fact that these guns took a lot of time to grind for, and nerfing them is just a slap in the face for the ones who reached Fabled/Legend. As a whole, consider buffing the competition of the meta weapon before nerfing it to the ground, and as for the playerbase, use your responsibility of feedback with caution. Thanks ;)
