Well done bungie.
I’m being honest.
I was expecting haunted forest minus the purple but I had hope.
You did good bungie, my first run of the new forest, got to wave 117 and I honest to god, had so much fun doing it. We let time run down cause someone had to go but the point stands, I don’t want this to go, this concept of the intimate forest , this is what it should have been when curse of Osiris came out.
I can safely say this alone would’ve safe curse of Osiris, ok, maybe a bit of a stretch.
Fact is, I don’t want this to go and good job bungie.
Community, feel free to disagree, go ahead, this is how I feel and you won’t change that.

Sorry, I should’ve said, I absolutely love the gun play in this game. How they feel/shoot etc.
Probably why I enjoy the forest so much, it’s just killing stuff, I.e, my favourite part of the game.

Haha, eveytime they release a new activity we get posts like this. Yes, it's fun a few times but come back in three weeks after 100+ runs.

The forest has made some of my niche garbage rolled guns so fun! Like i have a bug out bag smg with grave robber and demolitionist, originally a pretty meh roll but in the forest this bad boy is super fun! I was running well of radiance warlock with the melee buff active and wearing sun bracers and i gotta say keeping your team constantly empowered while getting to spam nades for a few seconds when you get a kill (both of which reload my gun 😉) is pretty awesome. Although well is pretty what ever until boss fights i usually just popped it to give my fellow guardians orbs or just yolo dove into a big group and dropped it and started the nade punching fiesta that was my build. 🙂

1 ReplyWhile it is very similar to what they did with the haunted forest I like it a lot more. Only thing I really hate about the event is how the ornaments go away after it ends.

I think it sucks. Me and 2 randoms got past 100 before I decided to stand still and get done with it. There is no noticeable increase in difficulty, if you can clear wave 1 you can clear wave 112.

1 ReplyGot to 201 and had 6 mins left and we said -blam!- it at that point. Funny thing is, the Virescent Banner dropped AFTER said 201... and it shows a big fat 0 on deepest branch. The -blam!- is this shit bungie?

It's only useful to go to wave 25 or so. You get "punished" for going higher since it's just a waste of time. (Not aware of any benefit to doing more than killing all 5 bosses) It's fun to go for max wave once or twice. Are you really going to repeatedly do 1+ hour runs for the next 3 weeks? Could be designed better.
