So Who Else Is Disappointed ?
I love this game I really do. It's been a long tough road, but after this 4th rendition of The Court of Oryx...come on man...
Edit: For the D2 noobs, Court of Oryx is a D1 game mode where you grind for runes with different tier levels. You use the runes to activate the tier you want, kill enemies that spawn from the event, then collect loot. Sound familiar?

36 RepliesI cant believe bungie has the nerve to call this content... No new story, so no new missions No new strikes. No new adventures. No new endgame. They didnt even bother upping the light on the nightfalls, which still sit at 540. What the hell is the point of grinding to 700 light, when there is no reason to do so? Grind does not equal content. Chasing weapons, does not equal content. I watched the ViDoc and it was so full of shit. What new content? A lousy new gambit mode, a couple new maps, new exotics that you will likely not see since they still have not addressed the duplication issue. Bungie has there heads so far up there own asses that they cant see that they are strangling there game. For those who do not want to play gambit.. what? Do the same milestones over and over again that people have been repeating for the past several months? Thats fun right?

1 ReplyA whole season with pvp crap (yes, gambit is pvp, it is 4pl team against another 4pl team with some random ai enemies here and there). Gambit is boring, gambit prime in a team is even more boring and gambit prime solo is the most boring thing in D2.

1 ReplyThis game has become a chore rather than fun. I have to repeat the same old stuff to gain a mediocre amount of power which has no relevance. Prime was fun. Played it once but have lost all drive for this game. Onto The Division 2 where the developers have not changed what is not broken and in fact expanded on it. Lessons can be learned Bungie..... What a waste of time this game has become

GLAD I DIDNT PAY FOR THIS NONSENSE. I learned that bungie only takes away to resell or repackage. On top of taking everything cool away from Titans since D1, I am so happy I finished with this game.

Was disappointed with black armory another horde mode really? Bungie come up with something new... season of the drifter..... really bungie......gambit that mode that is played by the smallest part of the community second to pvp and whats worse you make a sweaty more pvp focussed version! are you not looking at the numbers.... the largest part of this community prefer's PVE..... Your population numbers just paints a bleak picture for the future...was on average 240k per day last week three platforms combined its only doubled this week still less than 500k a day....across three platforms....

Yeap I am done for now. Had a bit of a dabble but put it down tonight thinking jesus is this all that is in a 3 month content drop. Same thing just on different scales for stuff that looks the same. As a year 1 vet I'm gutted. All my mates don't play anymore, raids are boring as hell, getting the pinnacle weapons is just a silly grind session. Be interesting to see what happens next year when the bungie only content rolls out but for now I'm done.

I waited to play black armory until now so that I had gambit and that to do but chasing after the last word is utterly disappointing and not worth chasing to me anymore. Because of how these expansions are I’ve lost all motivation to do any of it

I was a huge destiny fan. And I gave bungo way too much benefit of the doubt. I usually have the belief if I'm gonna buy the game I may as well pre order. I don't regret pre ordering forsaken but I do regret pre ordering the annual pass lol. I get it, bungo produced this roadmap what their annual pass was going to be. But they didn't do that until lot of us already pre ordered it. So I definitely take a lot of the blame for my disappointment for myself. I do also believe that bungo has been very lazy when it comes to content and rather than them focus on destiny 3 they need to fix the sorry state of destiny 2. I like that season of the drifter does focus on primarily pve aspects for the game, but I am a huge pve, lore, campaign type person. If you're going to have a game that has a lot of lore you better have a supporting story/campaign for the lore. I think bungo owes the lore community and lore masters like My Name is Byf a huge thank you for telling the stories for them. The way he tells the story about Shin Malphur and Dredgen Yor is sooo good that I want a campaign mission that does a good job with the thorn, instead I am sure we're just going to get a pursuit with objectives that were drawn out of a hat.
