Crappy crucible requirements are ruining this game
Every time I see a quest step for anything with crucible now I refuse to do it, So I won't be getting the last word I guess, thanks bungie, for once again screwing over casual player with shitty crucible requirements.

5 RepliesI too am unhappy with PvP quest phases. Bungie did that solely to please the PvP community. PvP community cried and cried and cried that there’s not enough players in PvP, Queues take too long. Bungie’s Solution= Exotic Weapon Quest Steps in PvP. All those palm sweaty try hards practically soiling their diapers for everyone that comes in that isn’t a PvP regular just so they can beat their chests “hur durr hur durr, git gud skrub” or “don’t PvP then Looser”. While in fact Destiny 2 will never be MLG/esports viable because of how it’s designed. I laugh at the PvP try hards! What Professional tournaments For Destiny have you been/won? That’s right. None. Because this game isn’t that. They should all go to PUBG or Fortnite if they’re that “pro” and go make money to win there. //<end rant>//

I’m not trying to be a tool. I’m a decent crucible player, not the best. But all this complaining is ridiculous. I absolutely think a pvp exotic should require crucible. You all are having “trouble” because you don’t understand fundamentals: 1. Don’t chase your opponents at any point. 2. Assists all count, put safe damage on as much as possible. 3. Play with what your comfortable with, not just meta because it’s meta. 4. Take a damn break if you’re frustrated. It’s a game. Please stop complaining it’s actually an easy quest.

Bungie really upped the Crucible related quests in Y2D2. I'm not certain, were there any at all in Y1D2? We have Chaperone, Malfeasance (I'm counting it because of the kill guardians requirements), Ace and TLW. Four out of the seven quest related Y2 weapons. I'm sure we get to look forward to more in the future. Thorn will be PvP, probably another exotic will be directly Gambit related as well with the season bringing a new Gambit mode. Then maybe a couple of old favorites from Xur bounties (easy way to bring back some old guns, make them rare rewards from bounties like LoW is), that'll end up like clan bounties and be heavily weighted towards Crucible and Gambit as well. Just saying, this looks like the new direction Bungie is taking with making the game for Destiny fans. I guess a lot of people aren't what Bungie considers fans from the look of the forums.

1 ReplyDon't even give a fk at this point. Got restricted for 2 weeks because my internet. Never had any problems with any games up until now. All of the sudden I'm restricted. So yeah I cant even do the quest if I wanted. Pvp definitely ruining the game. Anthem just looks better and better. And yeah fk this community too. Toxic asf

9 RepliesThen you dont deserve it. The pvp quest is nothing. You basically get it just for playing crucible! There are plenty of people that hate doing PVE like raids. Those and strikes have the majority of locked weapons behind them so your complaining is misplaced. Players that like pve have things the way they want, meanwhile pvp dedicated players only have a few pinnacle weapons they can achieve. I still had to grind boring pve stuff for LW but I didn't complain!

The casual player SHOULD also bring playing PvP because idk... Its APART of the game.

1 ReplyWhat are you talking about? Luke Smith had this lame idea he could create a Halo experience with the base game. PvP and PvE with the lovely matchmaking since the base game has been ruined. Yeah, I sure as hell have faith in D3 knowing he is running it.

19 RepliesThey put Crucible requirements to keep people in Crucible kind of like the dailies. They know the majority of Destiny 2 players hate Crucible. It's the only way they can keep people in it for the ones who love Crucible.
