If iron banner is sbmm
Shouldn't the games be closer not complete blow outs?
Shouldn't everyone on each team be good not 1 or 2 and the rest are potatoes on one team and all stars on the other team?
Pleas bungie help me understand what you call sbmm.
Edit: many are not seeing the point in this bungie said that it's suppose to be sbmm in iron banner yet if this is the case the matches should be close matches not complete blow outs on either side. Anyone else notice that? It's always one sided 90% of the time

1 ReplyEdited by ││█║▌│: 11/20/2018 7:47:39 PMThe problem with SBMM in Destiny is that Bungie do not know how to correctly determine skill level, instead they go off basic stats that don't accurately represent the skill level of a player. This causes a mismatch and ends up screwing one of the teams over, because a few teammates are in a skill bracket they do not belong in. That is why blowouts are still common with SBMM in Destiny. SBMM currently only applies to Iron Banner.

4 Repliessbmm is definitely in effect in IB and rumble. When I play QP I see maybe 1 other luna's a game but when I play IB or rumble everyone has LH or NF.

That's why games often result in a blow out, because you're more likely to encounter teams of a wider skill bracket than yours.

Bungie SBMM should be about matching you with and against players with similar skill. I don’t know any more than that.

Its becauae IB is classed as end game PvP. Also It's control, SBMM doesn't matter if you don't play the game type. You could have a bunch of 3.0 kds but if they don't get the flags they wont win. These people have now got the lunas and nor forgottens so they want to put it to use in the other modes

Sweaty players don't want to play against other sweaty players that's why it was removed.
