Remove it altogether please.
Why not let us choose the mode we want to play instead of random through quickplay?
Every team I play with literally groans when control comes up. We all hate it, but are stuck with it more often than not.

The problem is that Destiny no longer has the player-base that it used to have. They usually only have around 500 to 600k players playing crucible every day, so they have to do it like this or some modes people would just never queue for. Which would see the forums flooded with even more complaints of matches taking forever to start, etc...

If no one queues for it then get rid of the mode. That seems pretty simple.

It really is not that simple. Regardless of a modes popularity, it has to be this way to make sure that even the popular modes always have full teams and start times that are as fast as possible.

and as a result PVP overall sucks and has a dwindling player base, getting smaller by the day.

Ive asked them to remove the playlists for years. I hate the, what I call, "multi-lobbies". But, I love Control, it's my favorite gametype besides Rift.
