0.1% of players have this?

This is not my screenshot by the way, I still do not have a single Forsaken exotic yet. Who is lucky enough to be this 0.1% ?

  • I just hit 10 with the malfeasance, 1000 voices, and quest exotics. I spent 5 weeks grinding milestones and raids on 3 characters without any year 2 exotic drops. The 2nd week and 7th dropped all of the year 2 exotics. I HATE what they have done to exotics. Logging in and doing milestones on 3 characters plus raids and only getting year 1 exotics DESTROYED any love I had for Forsaken- which I actually have a really high opinion of the dlc. Because of the BS dupe rate I am SO happy to be playing Red Dead redemption 2 right now. Really too bad because Forsaken was such an awesome dlc.

  • You have one character at 578… What do you expect at this point? I have two characters at or near 600 my warlock at 548, and I still have no new weapons. Destiny one player from nearly day one. My RNG is awful!

I got the Lord of Wolves shotgun a couple weeks ago. A week or two before that I got the Queenbreaker. Nada since then.

    • Pretty sure that popped up the other day at the same time I got heart of inmost light, I play alot and still have about the same number of exotics to go, and consider that two were quests for me so rng has gave me eight in Alot of play time since it came out. I do think the drop rate could be higher

    • Shards of Galanor and Ursa Furiosa are what I want. I still say to this day that all my Rng luck was used up on an ultra early Gally drop in the beginning of Dark below in D1 😭 That being said when I see that yellow engram drop from an enemy I get a feeling of excitement that I haven’t felt since before that first Gally drop!! My last exotic was a DARCI tho, like I would equip that over a sleeper or whisper 😖

      • Doesn’t help that it’s taking them till the 30th nearly 2 months after Forsaken dropped to put in these exotic changes after RDR2 comes out.

Edit: I think the point of my post was missed, and that's my fault. I was trying to say that when you research the numbers, it's all speculation and reports from news sources, not actual numbers. Even if the numbers are accounting for the widest margin of error, that .2 percent of players that have the trophy/achievement might be as high as 1.5 percent. And that number is still abysmal. I was trying to just post the speculative process with example links of where to get the estimated numbers without injecting opinion. End edit, the rest of my post remains unchanged. You have to take into account that the percentage includes everyone who played D2 at all. Thise numbers may even include players who only played the beta, as well as players who have only played the free trial. I'm not sure. Let's assume those numbers do not include Beta-only and free-trial-only players. D2's original sales made it one of the best selling games of 2017, even though it was released with only 2 months or so left in 2017. https://gamerant.com/destiny-2-sales-2017-best-selling/ When Forsaken sold, it about tripled the player base. https://www.pcgamesinsider.biz/news/67786/destiny-2s-forsaken-expansion-allegedly-tripled-the-games-player-count/ Destiny 2 was also Activisions biggest PC release ever. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pcgamesn.com/destiny-2/destiny-2-sales-figures-pc%3famp So when you take into account the players that bought the game initially, versus the players that came into Forsaken and inflated the numbers, minus the huge number of players that moved from console to PC, the numbers will be skewed. Any player who bought Destiny for the first time when Forsaken was released (about 2/3rds of all players), may be behind the rest of the player base in acquiring anything. We already know that the game is a grind, and about 2/3rds of the community is starting with 3 new characters. Also take into account the huge amount of players that stopped playing on console, and are now on PC. It appears that of 11 million initial players that bought D2, about 4 million bought it on PC, with around half of those players moving from PC to console. So 2 million-ish of 11 million will have zero trophies/achievements on consoles. This will be a lot of zeroes that lower the percentage of players with trophies or achievements on console. We also know that PC launch was later than console release, so many players were on console before leaving console to go to PC. Of the 9 million-ish left on console, numbers dwindled from people who just stopped playing before Forsaken came out. The online player stats about a month ago according to the article below, (remember, were reportedly tripled) and those numbers were 2.3 million and 1.6 million in PvE and PvP respectively. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pcgamesn.com/destiny-2/destiny-2-player-count%3famp So if all of those players who played PvP only played PvP, and the PvE players only played PvE, that makes 3.9 million total players out of about 11 million initially. This would make the maximum number of people who could possibly have the trophy would be 40 percent. Realistically, players play PvE and PvP, rather than one mode exclusively, and that number of 3.9 million includes PC players. The exact numbers are unavailable, but if we postulate that 2.3 million PvE logins were people playing through the story, the maximum amount of players who would add to the tally of who had completed the story line trophy could be 2.3 million out of 11 million. When I check to see what the percentage is of players who completed the story line trophy for Forsaken, it's at 11.4 percent. Win a gambit match is at 10.8 percent, and Enter the Dreaming City is at 9.9 percent. When we take the maximum possible 2.3 million players out of 11 million players, and cross reference it with the estimated ratio of those people who stopped playing before Forsaken, and the players who left console to play on PC, the numbers make sense, and align with the estimates. So the trophies, as calculated, are not as rare as the stats say they are when you look them up in the trophy comparison menu. The percentage of people who have achieved trophies whi still actually play on the console is significantly higher, approximately 4 to 6 times higher. Which still means that it's rare for a player to have 10 Forsaken exotics, but not as rare as the stats tell you.

            • Have had 10 exotic drops two of them yesterday and not one forsaken and I have played every day since release for about 3 hours a day. All year one crap I can get from my collections hope this update coming up helps. Bungie we want to make exotics more special. Me when I see a exotic icon palm to forhead. Fyi the quest exotics don't count.

              • It’s weird. All I see in this post is “I got it!” “I got that no problem and so do my friends” “just 10? Puhlease! I’ve got six tail fox, Cerberus 2+2, trinity prime, Big Black Talon.” Either the percentage is wrong or these people are bunch of filthy liars. I’ll go with latter, the forums have always been a dick measuring contest.
