So after finally spawning the servitor this happened.
Long story short, we spawned our servitor. The other team knew so they backed out and sent me the message above.
Played many many games after that one and no luck.
Edit:- I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
Update:- We just killed the boss and the quest dropped. I've almost stopped playing Gambit after what happened to me with these guys. Bungie really should look into this so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Edit:- Alot of people are angry because I shared this. Believe me you wouldn't be so angry if this situation happened to you. If you ignore this, soon enough it will become a problem and people will talk about it in the forums. Also it might've happened to people who don't have access to b.net and in all seriousness ingame reporting does nothing.

Gambit is allot of fun and we’ve killed him 3 times so far. Dont let what happened discourage you from playing gambit.

i had somebody messaging me on pc earlier, telling me something like (french translation) "you got it in the ass dude" they killed the servitor first ofc, but i told him to inspect me (i got the gun day one since i got the quest something like 1h after it dropped on the reset at my frist gambit macth..i didnt even knew it was a special boss since i dont play a lot of gambit). he didnt messaged back XD.

He reminds me of them GTA griefers that like to destroy peoples cargo and in general, like to make people feel bad because their life is empty and that's what they call "fun"; kind of like Reksis Vahn, the Hangman. I hope he'll be having a prison sentence because of a crime he committed just to make people sad and disappointed for his pleaser somewhere in the future.

8 RepliesWhat a bunch of shit birds. Bungie either doesn't know or ignores how toxic players can be. I tried that AoS invader kills step before they changed it. My teammates were a three man fireteam and they all had AoS equipped. When an enemy invaded they would block me, shoulder me off ledges, and otherwise cock block me. Then all three would teabag me while firing their AoS in the air. Shit birds I tell ya.

That’s it? I’ve had the boss spawn twice this week. The first time, teammates couldn’t kill it in time because they don’t know how to kill the enemy guardians. Second time, teammates must have played gambit for the first time ever since they only gather 5 at a time, then die because they can’t clear the blockers out. Literally The only motes we banked were the 15 that I deposited. I had no help whatsoever clearing the 4 phalanx, 2 ogres, and 2 invaders that came for me in a single minute Round 2 starts and we barely get the Servitor to spawn but it doesn’t matter because the other team already melted theirs in 9 seconds

This needs to change. It's making people not play Gambit as intended. This was the pathetic argument for AoS which I predicted would be the scapegoat because people weren't good enough to do it. Where's the outrage over this quest as well as the weekly powerful bounty making people not play as intended? Huh? Where is it? Just admit you couldn't get the HC kills lol.
