To any reader or Bungie employee that is willing to give me a short moment of your time: I’m sure you are aware of the grind and rewards in Solstice of Heroes, and how the Legendary Armor, the main draw for the event, will be near worthless in Y2 once Forsaken comes out because it will not have perks. I think it goes without saying that [i]this is so underwhelming[/i] because of the work needed to be put in and the extreme focus dedicated to these items. They are supposed to represent our feats and dedication to the game in Y1, so why leave them behind? The solution is easy, have it be upgradable to gain Perks. This could be done through an item or resource that is used on the Collection-Friendly set that grants it random perks. This variant would not be in the Collections, but could be re-rolled again at the cost of X resource. If some system is not put in place, the armor that the [i]entire event[/i] is based around will be obsolete in less than a month. Thank you for your time.
