Hi everyone. I'm giving the Witcher 1 last attempt as a series to grab me. 3rd time is the charm, right? Anyways I first tried the game when the Witcher 3 came out. I had heard good things about it, and decided to give it a try. I got to about the Baron with the missing family, and dropped the game due to lack of interest. The story was OK at best, the gameplay was poor, and the music was nothing special.
Fast forward a year, and the hype around the game only grew. I was astonished. I decided there must have been something I missed. I did something wrong to fully enjoy the game. So I started again, and gave it another chance. I got slightly further, I mean, I finished the quest for the Baron. But then, like before, dropped.
Should I start with one of the earlier games? Is there a way you have to play this game in order to enjoy it?
