1 ReplySee, you say we've all been disappointed before. But I have never been so to the point that I regret buying/preordering. I've been disappointed by Wendy's chicken nuggets, but I still got them again.

Preordering
-
Already did hahaha. $ isn't an issue in my life so don't tell me how to spend it.
-
6 RepliesCheers for letting us know how you feel. Last tome I checked I was an adult and can spend my damn money how I please
-
8 RepliesDestiny is the best game in the world and I’ll pre order the new expansion on X Box and PS! Thanks for reminding me to get onto it 😎

7 RepliesEdited by Inprobus_: 6/8/2018 4:27:47 AMPerhaps we have forgotten. *Ahem* IT TAKES TIME TO CODE THIS GAME. SERIOUSLY. WOW, SHOCKER. I'm so sorry that Bungie cannot create a TAKEN KING every three months! Seriously! They have limits! It's either Quality Or Quantity, and they are choosing Quantity for these small expansions, then Quality for forsaken. You came in during ROI, didn't you? You're one of those noobs that haven't seen the struggle of D1. Boom. Call Sherlock, I've solved this one. Edit: Yeah seriously, your raid.report doesn't even show ANY activity. You haven't experienced the best part of D2 yet! You gotta play the game before judging it!

2 RepliesI agree with this , but I wouldn’t say the taken king and rise of iron were disappointing. CoO was a joke and eververse, so yeh I would wait a couple of weeks before buying
-
Don't plan to. I will evaluate first. Ditto with the three later smaller DLC's.
-
I agree with you. My goodwill is used up. I'm betting it will release broken, and 40% of what was in the trailer won't be there at launch of Forsaken, and if not at launch it will end up as cut content thrown into the annual pass.
-
If you think destiny is such a bad game then stop playing it, simple. P.S goldfish actually have a 3 month memory not a 3 second memory like you were suggesting
-
does bungo lock out upvoting on truthfull posts like these or something , , this is like the 4th thread this week that hits close to home for em i cant vote on . . poor bungie lol
-
Yeah I won't. I'd also have to buy the first to expansions as well in order for it to work so no thanks.
-
6 Repliesonly clueless baboons would pay 70 + for this sad attempt at robbery and the "its not a season pass" season pass.
-
The money's not the issue...it my faith in bungie keeping me from pre-ordering...i mean the D2 trailer looked great...all we got was a shit show...so...
-
Agreed. This game is terrible, it's just insane how fast they could destroy the game that once was as great as D1. I mean it almost seems like sabotage.
-
Oh I won't; they've offered us terrible pre-order bonuses.
-
-
2 RepliesI already preordered D3 bruh
-
DO NOT PRE-ORDER FORSAKEN FOR GODS SAKE
-
Hold up all we got was ONE trailer. Don't jump to conclusions. Let them show us more
-
For all the people saying, "I don't care that the game isn't as good as it could be, I'm still gonna pre-order," you are the reason why gaming companies keep getting away with half-assed games that never live up to their potential. Only by actively speaking with your wallet can you let companies know what you want, continuing to buy things that are half-baked gives no incentive for these companies to actually do a good job.
-
Wait, but take king did fix destiny... like in a lot of ways
-
7 RepliesEdited by PapaCat11: 6/7/2018 7:35:58 PMBetter yet don't buy it ever ... Destiny 2 is complete unadulterated garbage...
anyone who say different is just a destiny noob who didn't play d1 in its prime

The Destiny community seems to have the attention span and memory of a goldfish. How many times must you go through being disappointed by Bungie before you realize that this isnt going to save the game? Bungie says they're finally fixing the game. They say THIS time is finally the time the game will be good. Are you people so blinded by hype that you'll believe anything Bungie says? Did you forget Destiny 2 vanilla? Or how about Curse of Osiris? Warmind? Or how about Destiny 1? The Dark Below? House of Wolves? The Taken King? Rise of Iron? All of these were supposed to "fix" Destiny. And they all failed. Yet, here we are again on the cusp of another DLC. ONE THAT IS $70 NO LESS. Have you learned nothing? Did you forget about Eververse? Shaders? Bland stories? Awful writing? Lazy game design? Last week Bungie sold an emote for $10. After seeing that you honestly believe in Bungie that much? For shame. Anyone that preorders Forsaken and is fine with dishing out $70 blindly without knowing anything about what is in the new DLC or beyond is a fool. Wait for the DLC to come out. I know it is hard to wait a couple weeks to get your drug fix, but wait a couple weeks after the DLC launches, then make the commitment. You people see some Fallen and some fixes to the game and lose it. Bungie has done this before. You've all been disappointed before. You'll all be disappointed again. DO NOT PREORDER FORSAKEN Edit: It is amusing to me the utter toxic fanboyism that plagues this site. What happened to #Remove Eververse? Did we all forget that Bungie has consistently implemented anti consumer practices into this franchise? What about the XP scandal a few months back? Or what about all the cut content both in D1 and D2? $10 emote? You are all blind sheep REWARDING Bungie for these practices. You are ENCOURAGING them to continue to screw us over. You are poisoning the gaming industry by paying for products you know nothing about. Blind consumerism. How about, before you go and give $70 for DLC to a company that has consistently underperformed, disappointed, and been anti consumer you hold off and WAIT? I fail to see why you people have such trouble waiting to see if this stuff is even worth the price. Is it all gonna be Eververse focused? We dont know. Yet you'll give them the money upfront anyways. Pure lunacy. Here's a nice analogy: Had I pre ordered a car from a company that promised an amazing car with great mpg that will last a long time, and then finally get the car only to have it come in pieces that I have to build over years while the end product is a mediocre car that has average gas mileage and breaks down after 4 years, I'D STOP BUYING CARS FROM THAT COMPANY.
If I want to pay for it I will. You don't have to if you don't want to.

You're an industry plant using reverse psychology. Well played.
