My opinion is you can see they chose a direction but for many it wasn’t the right one. They have chosen to keep with the neutered balanced structure with boring weapons and a everyone wins mentality. With this decision they have moved further away from a loot shooter rpg where effort and accomplishments make you stronger in game and then others. Like I said in another post this is fine if this is the direction they want to head but if they keep down that train I guarantee many will bail either soon or after they play the content they purchased with D2 at launch. I got the season passes so I’ll play what I paid for but after that if they stay down this path I’ll be done.
