Yeah. It’s not like they are coming out with a blog post today directly responding to community feedback and addressing problems. Oh wait.... that’s exactly what they are doing. That would mean you sir... are wrong.

Agreed 😏

Yeah, a 1 sided, no live feedback blog; that they alone dictate not only what the want to acknowledge, but also the answers given/seen

Smoke and mirrors.. outdate the outrage!! that's whats coming tomorrow .. the wolf will drive the sheeps back into the pen with words of honey...

It means that this attitude of "Bungie is always wrong and can't do anything right" is why the keep us at a distance and only tell us what they want us to know. Because we're going to be mad no matter what.
-
The only poor attitude is their attitude of how they are always right and how if players disagree they stubbornly refuse to listen
-
They aren't always right. But then neither are we. Way too pervasive is the attitude that the gamers are always right, and anything they say or do is justified.
-
Except what we are saying here can be justified and there is evidence through instances of bungie treating their playerbase like shit

Bungie would do well to speak to people that are good at PR / managing ongoing relationships with customers. They seem to have a tendency to respond badly. I'm not saying 'the community' is always right because they're / we're not. It's just that Bungie seem to make things worse by what they do when they react. Take the XP cooldown as sn example. I used to spam public events, so have definitely been affected by it. However I accept the reasons for a system like that being there, and all Bungie had to do to fix it was change the XP displayed in game to the correct amount. Instead they say the system is being disabled then go and double the XP required to 'level up'. I just shake my head at the thinking behind that one. 😕 -
Bungie's corporate communication style is stuck about 10 years behind the times, and their corporate personality is a stubborn determination to do things their way. But without that attitude, this game probably would have never made it to market. More "reasonable" developers would have balked at the risks. Bungie instead charged the Gates of Hell with a bucket of gasoline in each hand.....

Sadly after knocking those gates down and doing great for a while they seem to have tripped up and poured the gasoline all over themselves. The flames are approaching, getting ready to ignite. I really hope that something good comes from this blog today, but they don't like admitting that they're wrong so I'll be surprised if it does. -
Im not mad bro.. are you? Im just realistic, and I know how it roll's. I been on the other side of the table and know how the talk goes...
