I thought it was a good post, seems to me they have ears on the forum and specifically mentioned fixes to some of the issues voiced by this community.

Here's what a big chunk of the gaming industry has boiled down to over the past couple years * Half built games * Rush jobs/money grabs * Micro transactions It is all by design. There are no mistakes in any of this. All of the frustration that you all feel as well as myself is valid. Toxic or not, fanboy or pessimist, everyone has a valid point. You can't hate someone for thoroughly enjoying this game in it's current state and you can't belittle them for it. You can't call someone cry babies vice versa. We are all humans and everyone enjoys things differently. That all is extremely multi-faceted and don't want to go down that road. So moving on. The major problem I see is the direction that these companies are headed. Building games lacking content to spoon feed to people should not be a business practice. I'm sure that with D2 and it's 2 expansions, there very well could've been what someone would call a complete game for $60. In it's current state, no matter what you say or how you want to defend this in any way, it is not a complete game. (I burned through the campaign and had 3 characters at 280+ in two days. There were other factors that attributed to this that made it very easy to do. As in like how this game is designed.) If we are all now expecting games to be released with a 4-6 hr campaign then what? We get exactly that. Expect a end game? We get exactly that. Whether or not it was well planned out is what's debatable. This game really feels empty for $60, because it is. End game or not there should have been a much larger IP provided here on initial launch. I feel like gamer's are starting to get stockholm syndrome towards game developers in a sense. It seems as if that Activision and EA are using the same play book. All is not lost though and there is a way to fight the beast. Simply don't give them your hard earned money. Plan and simple and end of story. Thanks for your time.

Mark my words, Destiny is dead. Tomorrow will be an utter disappointment focused around vague comments made by the troll Luke smith. He has successfully committed genocide against hard-core players. Raise your digital hand if your entire clan no longer plays and more then likely never will again. [i][b]Revision, in reading the new bungie blog I’m reserving my opinions until we see if what was said in the blog will come to fruition. I still have little to no faith in bungie. So fingers crossed the game will return to its former glory. However D2 should of started out with all these features plus new features which we all expected. Only time will tell[/b][/i] I thought about it and MY BIG ISSUE Bungie has begun to respond to the community’s angry feedback and it seems like reverting back to D1 systems and some small new changes is their short-term answer. It’s good that their listening and responding but MY HUGE PROBLEM is that these things should have already been in the game since the start and so much more. They had 3 years and they developed the winning formula and they just threw it out only to begin to bring it back...WTF? It’s seems like it’s going to be a year or so till Destiny gets back to where it should of been at lunch. So I feel like we still need to keep the pressure on till the game gets back to the quality game we all fell in love with. Unless we revert back to D1 weapon slots, loot system (no more tokens) and super customization selection I don’t see D2 gaining any significant ground with the hardcore community. Frankly bungie has completely lost my faith. And.... We also need (I really mean this should of all been in the game at lunch): Throw out the token system Strike specific loot A real quest page Real quests (eg Bohleen Gemini, sleeper sim) Exotic quests which are hard (eg chaperone) Real exotics White whale weapons (eg mythocast) Raid perks on raid gear The grind (eg strike keys, treasure keys) Bounties Hidden bounties (eg thorn) Hidden quests (eg kastavo) Hidden missions (eg Black spindle) Grimmore (in-Game) Dead ghost (collectibles) Way more Game achievements 3v3 6v6 pvp Real PvP game types with a selection process Ranked play Mystery and wonder back to destiny This is just what we expected from D2 not to say anything about what we hoped for. Things like: New subclasses Flying our ships New exciting vehicles New weapon types(ones that are useful) And things I’m not able to conceive because I’m not a professional game designer.

Oh baby so now instead of lying to us on stream they can just lie to us through thier shitty weekly blog. It is alot harder to lie to someones face so clearly they will be delievering all furture lies and bullshit through the weekly bungie blog. Brought to you by greed.

LMAO!!!!! So the hardcore guys get a node and not so hard core guys get every exotic/legendary with less effort. I guess I'm lucky I scored the best end game loot "friendship". My friends and I have moved on to COD after a 3 year break.

I find it interesting that this upcoming Bungie post has more hype than the upcoming DLC.
