Here it is I promised all you they would make a blog on it.
Still a long, long way a go but definitely a step in the right direction.

It makes you want to pick up your sword and be the Guardian you was born to be again.

2 RepliesIt's a step in the right direction. More open communication regarding what's being worked on/improved is what this playerbase needed. However, there were still quite a few things that were not addressed, or still somewhat lacking, in the blog post. Mod System, weapon rolls, and customization: ➡While the Masterwork Weapon Tier is a nice touch, it will need to be expanded on. It will need to have more variety, not just generating Orbs on mulitkills and a random stat increase. There could be one that helps ability cooldowns with kills from that weapon, or one that can heal your allies, or jump start their health recovery, when you shoot at them (although, that would probably be better as an exotic weapon ability). Additionally, the mod system itself will need an overhaul for better depth. Additional mod slots for various types of mods, like customization or replacement of weapon sights, and rate of fire change (similar to the Phase Magazine perk that can be found on 3 particular submachine guns). If I may also add, Kinetic and Elemental Mods should allow you to change a weapon from a Kinetic to an Energy weapon, and vice-versa. ➡Weapon rolls require some fixing as well. As they are, they lack diversity and personality. Not nearly as "individually handcrafted" as they were promised to be. There's hardly a difference between them, Better Devils aside. One way to address this is with a more synergetic perk tree. If a weapon has a perk like Kill Clip as its main, then it would stand to reason that it should have a perk that involves faster reloading to allow this perk to shine more. Regarding Raid weapons, they need a much more refined, and unique, perk tree to set them apart from the usual legendary weapons, and to make them more worth the effort to obtain them. ➡On a side note: I am still concerned about the lack of variety in Sword Types. Nearly all of the swords are Adaptive Frame. The only 2 that aren't are the Titan's Aggressive Frame Sword, Crown-Splitter, and the Hunter's Lightweight Frame Sword, Quickfang. Not only are those 2 the only swords of those types, they don't even have any unique, class-specific abilities to warrant them being restricted to those classes. We need more Lightweight and Aggressive Swords, and for the 3 class-specific swords to have unique perks geared towards their respective class. For example, replace Quickfang's awful En Garde perk with one that grants it bonus damage and lunge range after using Dodge, and another perk that recharges Dodge with kills or consecutive hits. Crucible: I can't stress this enough; we need to have the option to choose which Crucible mode we want to play. There was no reason to change this from the first game. If need be, add new or previous game modes, whether it's Rift, Combined Arms, Mayhem, Inferno, Doubles, or something entirely new. The Mercy Rule also needs some work. It still doesn't function right. If a match is 20-60, or 13-30, it should call an end to the match, or at least put a Vote to End Match function in there that requires the winning team to have a 20-25+ score with a 10 or 15 score lead against the losing team to use it. Sandbox changes: There was no mention of this anywhere in the blog post, even though there is a dire need for one. Pulse Rifles, Grenade Launchers, and Snipers, are underwhelming at the moment, and require attention. Fast-firing pulse rifles don't have enough range to compensate for their low damage, and slow-firing Pulse Rifles don't deal enough damage to make up for their rate of fire. Grenade Launchers don't deal enough damage to make them a better choice over even a fusion rifle. The massive flinch and wonky handling of snipers makes them obsolete; I'd rather use a Linear Fusion Rifle than a sniper. Subclasses: From the weak grenades to the Supers, some subclasses are underperforming. Particularly Dawnblade, Sunbreaker, and Arcstrider. ➡Dawnblade's main problems are the Super, and Attunement of Sky. The Super, Daybreak, is almost unusable without the Fated for the Flame Perk. Its duration is too short, the projectiles consume too much energy, and the projectile drop/arch is too steep, and happens too fast, making it much more inaccurate than Hammer of Sol. It needs an increase to duration, or a decrease to the energy consumption of the projectiles. When using Attunement of Sky, the Winged Sun Perk should allow the projectiles to travel in a straight path, and Heat Rises should increase the projectile damage or radius, when using it in the air. As for Attunement of Sky, itself, for something built around aerial combat, purposely making in-air weapon accuracy terrible is counterproductive; it makes this Attunement garbage. Winged Sun should innately increase weapon accuracy and stability while airborne, so that the perk can actually have a functional purpose. One last thing I would add is a change to the flame streaks created by the Fated for the Flame perk. Rather than a single streak, the projectiles should create a continuous one, like Thermite Grenade, on impact. ➡Sunbreaker's Super suffers from a similar problem; energy consumption, duration, damage, and damage radius. For that, I would suggest an increase to the base duration, or a decrease to the energy consumption per hammer throw. Have Vulcan's Rage increase Hammer of Sol damage radius, and Tempered Metal increase the damage of Hammer of Sol, with kills, and have it stack per kill. Then, buff the Sunspots created by Sol Invictus and Endless Siege with a longer duration, a larger radius, or increased damage. ➡Arcstrider's main problem is the mobility and range of the Super. Deadly Reach should grant you increased lunge or dodge range after a kill with Arc Staff, and Lethal Current should grant you an ability, similar to the Sentinal's Shield Throw, where you can throw the Arc Staff like a spear. On impact, it unleashes an Arc Pulse, chaining Arc Lightning to nearby enemies, and like Shield Throw, it should have a cooldown. Lightning Reflexes should boost your sprint speed during Arc Staff after dodging. ➡The other problem is the grenades. Many of them are weak, and offer nothing but an inadequate amount of damage. A fun way to buff these would be to give them an additional effect, rather than a damage buff. The explosion from Fusion Grenades should grant a temporary damage debuff to an enemy they attach to. Flux Grenades should temporarily slow an enemy when they attach and explode. When a Magnetic Grenade attaches to an enemy, the first explosion should unleash a magnetic pulse that pulls in surrounding enemies towards the one its attached to, then deal AoE damage with a larger secondary explosion. Skip Grenades should push back enemies they damage, and Swarm Grenades should lift enemies up into the air. Voidwall Grenade should produce a wall of Void energy as tall as the Titan's Towering Barricade, for better area denial. Thermite Grenade should fan out rather than just travel in a straight line. There are a few other points I would like to touch on, but I'll stop here.

If Bungie would put a large banner on the startup and loading screen that read "f You" id genuinely play it more it takes balls lol

Seriously it seems like they are giving back FINALLY some of the systems from D1 that we actually wanted to keep! But they seem to be a bit confused. It's VERY simple Bungie. If you can keep the casuals and hardcore playing it increases the opportunity for people to buy engrams thus making you more money. (the point is to make money without going EA stupid amirite? =) Ok I'm a casual and I am only one of them so they'll want other things but what I want personally. *Matchmaking for all forms of optional entertainment. (the difficulty level should be lessen and the rewards reflect it. It's easy the gear CANNOT goto max light and the color for reg iteration of the raids is exclusive for that raid.) * Rewards should be a chase NOT a handout. Seriously end game we got WAYYYYYYYY too much loot for the little effort which made grinding and working for gear too easy. If people are handed stuff even exotics become MEH instead of an achievement. * What made me come back to D1 as a casual the most? The chase allowed for my level of playing. You seemed to have done something about it with supposed means to obtain faction armor among others with tokens directly. When something is THAT hard to procure for a limited time event we HIGHLY appreciate the change. Thank you for murderering the frustration. Two months and no warlock helm from NM is total BS. The Hardcore: now I sued to be but thinking a bit old to keep up with the younger anymore so I am likely out of date but just do this. make tons of optional bonuses that can be attached and put the most op together and let it reflect in the raids you make going forward. So if Raiders want to beat it they need the god rolls. Now don't keep those bonus tokens too far out of reach but let them chase they want to like casuals to a lesser do. The Hardcore wants to have that uber items first. Let them play and chase for that stuff! Money: you want it we all know it so give us something we'd WANT to buy and make it available ONLY in white engrams. Create specific loot meant to be bought. Say if you buy it you definitely get SOMETHING legendary just put out a lot of legendary and exotic gear that can be only obtain in Engrams. Suggestion? Make all the shaders EASY to drop and far easier from the vendors that used to drop them. Now the NEW shaders should have different colors that actually glow INCLUDING blacklight for the color black! Then release illuminated legendary armor that requires Exotic Shaders so they could glow. I mean sure we might get a lot of trons running around but if that is what they want.... include these shaders and illuminous shells for sparrows and ships. Last suggestions: 1. Space combat 2. Bring back our damn horns! =P

4 RepliesWhy can't they just add 6v6 for casual play and iron banner and 4v4 for competitive and trials.🤔🤔
-
2 RepliesMost of it is just stuff that was left out of D2 like actual vendors.

1 Reply... so Red Carpet for MH World. Good job Bingo.

22 RepliesEdited by 7riton: 11/29/2017 5:10:41 PMI’ve been loyal to Bungie since Halo 1. That’s one thing die hard PlayStation players don’t understand. Is that there is a large community, loyal community around Bungie. That have always hoped for the best for Bungie, from Bungie. As far as I can see Bungie is NOT the Bungie we once had. The business practice of Bungie are nothing close to what it once was. Selling half a game. And the second half into two expansions.. Not once but TWICE. And the loyal fan base still stuck with Bungie even after getting shit on TWICE. At some point enough is enough. We didn’t need a more robust Eververse. We wanted a robust crucible list and 10 unique strikes ON RELEASE. The truth is that the community was vocal from day one of Destiny 1 and to Bungies credit some were addressed. But to see Bungie turn around and go right back to the BS that has pissed off so many and have the nerve to focus on micro transactions only shows were thier loyalty lies and it’s not with the fans. Those who like the game as is, great good for you but those who have taken issue is not a casual or minority group. There are major problems with Destiny and the complaints are justified and deserved.

4 RepliesFor those complaints about more exotic engrams. It doesn't matter if you get more exotics. The problem is the 30 same arm exotics I have. I would be fine getting all the exotics fast I'm more interested in playing with them, not wishing I had them. Sadly, January we can buy a exotic that is guaranteed to be one we don't have. Why must I grind for a chance for one of these? I have opened several hundred for God's sake. Why not just fix the damm duplicate drop rates? I know that makes way to much sense right?
-
They definitely are adding a huge amount of stuff. I just hope Masterworks will have enough variety to keep those of us who enjoy the grind, grinding away. I want to be able to log into D2 everyday and constantly work towards an end goal. Because the best part of the grind is the reward and the time invested into getting something you really want. I also hope there is a metric ton if new weapons and armor to grind for. Especially exotics. Just as long as they aren't locked behind raids or trials, I'll be happy. I'll definitely be pre ordering the DLC. Because it is quite clear that bungie wants to keep us playing and keep us entertained.

I feel like a lot of people were expecting too much from this. While everything isn't fixed, I will admit that I'm surprised and intrigued by what was shown. How much of a difference it will make, I'm not sure. They better be serious about trying better to be transparent though, this matters most.

Agreed 100% Ps don’t let hard destiny haters or lovers who are deluded change the game for the worst or facts. This game is as OP said making a step in the right direction but we still got a mile to go. I don’t want this game to die but if people bring biased opinions without looking at it logically and say “this fixes some things but not everything we need in this game”. The game is bad but we as a community are slowly making bungie see what needs fixing good job guys.

Edited by TheMightyEve_12: 11/30/2017 1:18:22 AMBollocks be the right words to explain what they just said. They broke theiir terms of agreement with you read it. So as a expeirenced player from kick off i wont be gracing this shite anytime soon. Keep fighting dudes.

Emote wheel coming but not a single acknowledgement of PvP game modes having their own playlist.

1 ReplyI have to wait till next year to have a chance at no duplicates? WTF! NEXT year wow. I would think fixing that would've been in the top 3 biggest priorities to fix BUNGIE! Duplicates has to be the number 1 or 2 biggest complaints ever!
-
No they addressed nothing important.
-
Masterworks seems like a half-assed version of an idea that was posted on the forums a while ago.
-
I agree.
-
It has potential we will see. One major complaint was lack of supers being used. There's now a perk u can add that grants an orb for multi kills with that gun. Should help out with that one. Lots of potential, so we shall see. Like always I'll wait until the dlc is out to see if i want to buy it. We have yet to see any raid lair details. Though very unlikely, they could knock it out of the park with the raid lairs. I'm hoping they are holding an ace up their sleeve cuz that's really the one thing that can please ALOT of people.
-
Oh look, stuff that should already be in the game. Familiar?

Blog? Cause that's what I feel like doing. Reading.

42 RepliesEdited by FoodsWarm: 11/29/2017 9:08:46 PMPeople need to stop with the vocal minority argument. Loyal Destiny 1 fans are not the vocal minority. We are a large group of people who were sold a bill of goods that was not delivered. Bait and switch no doubt about it. There are many people who feel the same way that don't bother to voice their opinions. On the surface the game added some new elements that made the open world more alive. It got new people involved in the franchise and expanded on design and visuals. With that said if you cant recognize the hollow nature of this game you are the problem. 1. Story was rushed 2. Weapons are dull 3. Nerfed powers 4. Stripped endgame Now I was a "CASUAL" Destiny 1 player. I completed every raid and maxed out every character over time. I learned my roles (what I was good at) for a raid team and preformed them well. This current trash bomb of a game was not created for me. It was created for (mentioned above) the rest of the casual gaming market that Destiny 1 did not capture the minds off. As a casual player, Destiny 1 was constructed in a way that I could leave at any time and come back to a game rich with content. I get it Destiny 1 didn't get that way over night, but during vanilla the game was rich with mystery that kept people engaged in things like lore, exotic collection, and Xur. So from a casual, adult, husband, employed perspective this game was not created with Destiny 1 casuals in mind. This was a terrible attempt at refocusing the franchise to cater to publisher requests. ___________________________________________________________________________________ EDIT: I think the hardest part of modern human nature is to admit when you were wrong. Everyone has a different scale as to what they feel is right, but it takes a person who is truly tough to admit they are wrong. Bungie is no different, I'm sure in their shortsightedness they feel that the game was a success monetarily. What I would like to hear is an omission that they were wrong. This will go a long way for me and many others. Lastly, after the release of information about Activision testing a multiplayer algorithm to force the sale of micro transactions, the current news should not surprise anyone. That was the first red flag. EDIT 2: The fact that they refuse to put an exact time (a few hours, its 2pm in Chicago) on when this will be released tells me that they are in full PR damage control mode. Don't expect anything of substance, I predict a muddy water to tread through. EDIT 3: Does anyone feel the drastic price decrease of the game today is foreshadowing something that might not be what we are hoping for? Seems odd that they would have a black Friday sale then lower the price even more a week later.

1 ReplyIt's ok. The youtubers will tell most of these people what to think very soon and then they'll come here and share their newfound ideals. #trollyomama

It seems they didnt say anything different at all.

1 ReplyI thought it was a good post, seems to me they have ears on the forum and specifically mentioned fixes to some of the issues voiced by this community.
