Here it is I promised all you they would make a blog on it.
Still a long, long way a go but definitely a step in the right direction.

8 RepliesSo basically nothing? Just an easier way to acquire the gear that is in game and another Ornament system. We didn't stop playing because we couldn't get the gear, we stopped playing BECAUSE the gear that we could get was BORING. PvE will still be boring. PvP will still be boring. I guess Bungo did it again...

1 ReplyNope. GAME OVER.

6 RepliesEdited by Destiny89: 11/30/2017 1:45:54 AMThe entire blog post is nothing but useless updating, it touched on nothing the fans are asking for and that's why I believe this dlc will fail big time! Where are the adept weapons? How come we can't chose pvp modes? It's -blam!-ing 2017 cod been doing this since 2004! Why not give us exotic primaries with elements like in original destiny? Give us random rolls, how come we can't just openly chat to people like in cod? Why are our ships still a loading screen? Three years and you've done nothing with this franchise but it's already too late tbh
-
2 RepliesIt's a start but there's no drop the mic. 6V6, machineguns, usable snipers and shotty's, bigger and better skill tree. Bring back the fun. and whats happening with the 1X enhancements?
-
Yeah this game sucks
-
A "step in the right direction" is simply an admission of guilt/neglect, regarding how poor a product they've released. It'd be nice if they actually could fix this dumpster fire. Deep down, we all know they're simply polishing a turd at this point. Not holding my breath...
-
Except nothing really substantial that has not already been mentioned or even planned to be said in the cancelled stream is on this statement blog the Blog completely ignores what the people that express their passion have asked for is actually coming
-
That was lackluster even by Bungie standards.
-
Nice to see they addressed some concerns. However, nothing was mentioned about the horrible state of 4v4 PvP or weapon loadouts. To me, those 2 things alone make D2 worse than D1. However, some of the things mentioned are interesting and we'll just have to see how big of an impact those things will have. Frankly, I'm still skeptical.

its way too little and too late
-
Edited by rebelfist1: 11/30/2017 2:05:32 AMLoot this loot that loot over here loot there...no vault space. They have addressed absolutely nothing except how they intend to hand out a million lollipops to the kiddies.
-
Let’s be honest D2 was doomed from the start no changes they make now will be good enough. I see no way this game comes back and stays relevant for another 2 years. “You can put water in a dumpster fire and Hope for the best ,or you could just put it out of its misery and watch that bitch burn”
-
Nothing in this blog post seems promising. As long as the core of game is shallow then nothing they add on top of it will help.
-
Still not enough all I heard was endgame & pvp and nothing else. Is bungie that stupid that it can’t figure it out that there’s more to this game then endgame & pvp crap - nothing about how they are going to fix pve patrol which is the bass of the game where everyone starts from so how is anyone supposed to progress forward with poor quality rewards & still have to put up with loot lock outs and engram with fix light level not to mention the fact of a flawed infusing system and what passes as a light level progression system which in the first game actually works fine unlike what we have in D2. so bungie is it going to be another round of catering to the minority instead of fixing the game as a whole because I don’t about anyone else but for me it getting old with this crap

7 RepliesThese are the pluses I took from the blog post. I think these sound good and interesting: > Masterworks with random, re-rollable stat bonuses > Improved vendor rewards > Re-introducing a Heroic Strikes playlist and more generous Strike rewards > Spending Tokens and Legendary Shards on Vendor inventory What probably is not good is: > Communicating through a blog post > Two primary system > 4v4 as the primary PvP mode > Inability to select PvP mode > Low power and high abilities cooldowns This is what I took from blog post.
-
Agreed. A good start.

Until I start seeing widespread great community feedback, D2 doesn't get space on my HD. Don't care that I have unfortunately already paid for the dlc.

Edited by Pfroebbel: 11/30/2017 6:00:48 AMI really hope the Smart Loot is not only for Exotics but as well for Raid Loot. I got four Swords this Week. Still Armor for my Titan missing (well i just keep getting Breast and Legs never Arms or Helmet) - grrrrrrr. It sucks working / raiding for hours and just keep getting shit #Feedback #smartloot #raidlootshit
-
what about subclasses?

5 RepliesUnfortunately I don't think this is going to help enough with weapon diversity. A small pool of perks that have to do with base weapon stats just won't cut it. We need some kind of random perk or mods based on perks. If something like this doesn't happen we will be in the same boat we are now. Give us a reason to not insta delete duplicates.
-
5 Replies95% are cosmetic changes, which means that this game is really struggling at this stage. I bet after three weeks from the DLC drops players will start complaining about the same things they do now. Why? becuase they did not fix the -blam!-ing core elements of this game that makes it sucks that much. I did not farm VOG raid because the vex mythoclast looked amazing (which it did), I farmed it week after week because the gun was overpowered and it felt special. D2 doesn't have this feeling across the board that's why it will keep falling apart.

Ya know, all they had to do was improve, and introduce new activities to D1. Add another activity like ROI, TTK or Wolves, or whatever. Add a few Weapons. Add a few bits of Armour. Leave the weapon slots, modifications and power ratings the fck alone! Leave the darn enemies as they were, instead of spending hours of time merely re-drawing them! Invent another enemy or two if necessary. A few insects or grubs or jellyfish might be interesting. Take a look at their stats, and dump a few weapons that hardly anyone uses. Invent a few more Strikes, and Raids. Introduce some sort of scaling to Raid difficulty, so we piss-poor players can have a go at them. Fix the Crucible to something like what the Crucible players want. I'm not involved here! DO NOT: Muck about with weapon stats; Introduce clearly stupid ideas such as once only mods; Introduce meaningless shaders that don't seem to do much; Introduce another stupid money-like system such as Tokens; Shift Weapons around in the slots; ( FFS what the hell brought this on?) Change the ability to infuse weapons from slot to type; (Ditto) Create new worlds that are so dam big, with scattered action, that a lot of time is spent on your bike just traveling around, or fast traveling; (Which wouldn't have been needed if the worlds were more compact.) Ruin PvE because of some mad crazy idea to make PvE balanced, when skill alone is the im-balance; And finally, DO NOT take away stuff the people obviously liked, and change or remove stuff that no one complained about. Jeez, it's so simple when you think about it. We all bought the DLCs, and played the hell out of them. I'd do it again a few times.

PvE left to rot while offering the bare minimum to PvP'ers to bait them into buying the dlc/stream.

6 RepliesEdited by Rebellis: 11/30/2017 2:02:10 AMFeels like Destiny 0.9 instead of 2.0 There's no excuse for leaving 3 years worth of QoL improvements behind, and for what exactly? And why is Bungie so afraid of making guardians powerful? I ask myself this every time I login. Where's the power fantasy? The only answer I can determine is that they want the skill gap in PvP to be as low as possible for casuals, and since they're never going to separate PvP and PvE, we'll never see iconic D1 weapons like Gjallarhorn, TLW, or Ice Breaker again. Just more stale and mundane stuff.

25 RepliesAnyone else seeing that they basically just said the same shit they had said already?
