I'm just gonna make this post to remember Trials and Iron Banner
Like it or hate it (and I mean really hate it), I have to say, I've had some really good times with Trials and Iron Banner. Having been a year 1 player, I've fallen for this shit-storm of a game, and I honestly have to say, I'm going to miss both of these.

1 ReplyFirst ever Iron Banner got me the best Machine Gun in the game (as seen on my Hunter!). Fun times. Trials I care nothing about. But if Countdown is any indication of the direction the Competitive Playlist is headed, I'm ALL THERE!!!

10 RepliesEven though I've gone flawless I have no good memories of trials. Definitely up there as on of the most cancerous and infuriating things I've experienced in gaming.

3 RepliesNow all I recall is Bungie saying they were locking things and not doing some things during the transition to D2, not that Trials and IB were gone forever. I expect them back in Nov or Dec.

I don't get all the Trials hate. I had some great times with it. Maybe it's because I only played a bit and did pretty bad but there was nothing like coming up against a team of evenly matched players, being 4 & 4 and feeling your heart beat faster with every passing second on that last round. It was a rush.

Iron banner was fun when the weapons were still worth grinding for. Wish they would've thrown them all in the loot pool for the final one. Trials..... I will greatly miss. It was the only thing that got me to turn on my PS4. Destiny was a great game and ill miss it but with nothing in it left to do I doubt ill play again until D2 is out. Gives me more time to fish anyway 😁

A stressful trials run where you barely make it through a few matches and reach the Lighthouse with a mixture of luck, heroics, and communication....... THAT is the best of Destiny :)

Not a fan of Trials, but I always loved the Iron Banner. I'm going to miss it.

I didn't start doing IB until yr 2 because i sucked at Crucible (still do). Than started playing IB and now I play PVP about 1/2 the time. It also got my three avatars to 400 in no time ;-) Ed

Trial is garbage but LOVE iron banner.

Some of my best games were in iron banner and trials could leave forever and I wouldn't care one bit
