It's the cod generation. They want dumbed down skill gap compressed social justice warrior games.
-
What? Who found that hard? 7 yr olds? There's no way that LS knows what turbine they are even talking about.
-
4 RepliesIn their defense first time I did that I just utilized my guardians immortality I thought jumping in at all killed you so I made no effort to avoid the spinning things. I'd jump in do as much damage as possible, die then respawn. Rinse and repeat

People actually had trouble with this? I hardly play PvE but blew right threw it. Do people like not have eyes or a brain?

11 RepliesEdited by FrenetiCreature: 7/26/2017 10:20:54 PMUhh... He specifically said that it was the two spinning arms that made it too difficult, not that players couldn't find the turbines. So, I don't get where your whole, "It just takes some research" comment is coming from. Also, Smith said that it had already been changed, before the beta even came out. He said, "I was surprised by the two spinning arms at that part, since that had already been changed to only one spinning arm, in the game that ships." It was the developers that decided to change it, before we even got to play the beta. The only reason there were two spinning arms in the beta, is because the beta was an old build, as has been mentioned many times. Nothing was changed in this mission, based upon what players got in the beta. It has nothing to do with what players thought about it. The version that ships, had already been changed, before any players even got to play the beta.

Shows how much floating waypoints and omnipresent exposition voices have ruined gamers.

I was a bit confused at the turbine section for maybe 30 seconds of shooting random parts wondering what it was i needed to hit, but the rest was pretty straight forward once I got one of them and dropped down into the safe cutouts. Had no idea this was such a challenge for people.

4 RepliesWow My faith in humanity is officially gone. Like...I don't even
-
That's... pretty sad. I hope they don't cater to the stupid throughout the entire game.

6 RepliesEdited by Onyx Guard: 7/26/2017 7:03:26 PMRecently picked up armored core 4A. I like the mission structure: Hey, I'm a company you want parts from. Here's a picture of a thing to shoot or a place to go, where you'll need to shoot things. If you find this bonus thing, I'll throw some extra stuff you're way. Don't die. Oh wait, forgot to mention you'll be fighting White Glint. But how bad could that be? They're only ranked 9th...
Edit: I see dark souls and bloodborne mentioned throughout this thread. Wonder how many remember that armored core comes from the same developer, and has their signature sheer cliff of a learning curve.
Edited by Packis: 7/27/2017 4:00:21 AMThe puzzle is so easy you don't even need the second turbine. Literally run right behind the bottom turbine and bam you're shooting those gears. More difficulty is more fun to me but I see why it was unnecessary. I do know that i was changed before the beta but I bet that one of the reasons is one that I listed. The other one just isn't needed if you do it the way I did.
-
Really? Who was stuck here? Lmao at you!
-
😂🤣 That is humorous. Granted, I did die a few times in this section, but once I figured it out it became a nonissue.
-
Traveling the caves in VoG the first time was hard. This beta mission was very easy idk people complained about it.
-
Seems to me to be a non issue, a lot of people crying like the community complained and got the turbines nerfed, which wasn't the case. The devs changed the turbines before the beta even released, we just beta tested an old build, why is this even a thing?

15 RepliesI hope Bungie doesn't make all of D2 on easy mode. I swear, devs these days holds players hands through the whole game. And I can't believe some of the complaints about the beta......Whaaaaa enemies are bullet sponges and are too hard to kill. Whaaaaa I can't use my super and abilities to breeze through everything. Whaaaaa! Whaaaaa! Whaaaaa! Bungie come hold my hand I'm scared. If you don't I'm not pre ordering. Whaaaaa!!!

7 RepliesIs this really something worth you lot getting up in arms over? Every comment I read is talking about something along the lines of nerfing for babies or casuals or whatever, or talking about people complaining it was too difficult so it was changed... First of all, I haven't seen anyone anywhere complaining about these turbines. The only thing even remotely close was people pointing out that players died more often than expected, as in, it was surprising, not that they were complaining or crying about it. Bungie removing it is just them removing a stupid and pointless early game potential barrier to some players, which was changed in the final build before any feedback or articles popped up about it. And it's not about scaling the difficulty either, it's not like there was much of a penalty to begin with "o gosh i started 2 seconds away from where I was supposed to gooo!". This thing neither enhanced or hindered the experience, and the change will neither enhance or hinder the experience... I swear it's so easy for you all to flock to a stupid and pointless bandwagon. It's a freaking turbine in the very first mission of the game, it has no significance and the situation people are creating around it is basically non-existent. At least when people were crying over the new weapon system it was actually something remotely worth crying over. But this? This is just juvenile.

And the nerf hammer has spoken
-
I'm not going to lie I got really frustrated died like 5-6 times until I realized what to do, they should have more stuff like this not less. After doing it I was like that was actually pretty cool, what I didn't like is the weak ass Cut scene at the end were he gently kicks you off the ledge, that felt like 5 year old hello kitty game cut scene

1 ReplyEdited by Basriii: 7/27/2017 2:23:22 AMAre people this incompetent and stupid, this actually hurts, this is why Bungie has to dumb down the game for incompetent mentally incapable people ever the fact that there parents looks down on them with pride hurts even more. If my child was this stupid I would've went back in time and had an abortion and left my significant other.
-
1 ReplyI died once on that part.... simply to see if getting hit by the turbine would kill me.... that's it.
-
4 RepliesBet these are the same people who are still searching for the crit spot on a shank.
-
What? Why? Ummm, wow I don't know what to say.
-
1 ReplyI kept shooting the blades until I realized I could jump down there. I died once, but that was it. It was easy.
-
Is this about the TURBINE!? Omg what is wrong with people deductive reasoning isn't even required. There's a marker! RIGHT -blam!-ING THERE! OMG SCRUBS. How? what? It's one thing to be a ideot and be like lol I can't believe It tock me that long. It's another thing to bitch about your own stupidity because you couldn't take 5 seconds to observe what the -blam!- was right in front of you.🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😣😣😣😠😠😠
Grounds to exterminate the human race right fricken here
It was actually fun dying several times to figure it out
