Edited by Tosevite 187: 7/28/2017 5:28:53 AMThat part was just that perfect mix of not hard enough but also just hard enough you actually have to pay some attention and it made it annoying as hell. Make it either just the thing to shoot right in front of you or add enemies that drop down or something
-
They changed it b4 the beta. None of us played the original.
-
The first time I just jumped onto the middle grating and walked to each section and hopped in.... seriously...
-
1 ReplySMH I got it on the first try. WTH is wrong with these people?
-
2 RepliesThis community is a joke.
-
Took me one death to figure it out. Bungie logic.
-
*ran in hand cannon going off and dies* holy cheese sticks! I am not a god! Welp time for far distance guerrilla tatics.
-
Disappointed in humanity once again.
-
I played the mission twice while black out drunk and beat it, so it couldn't have been too hard.
-
The people who found that part of the mission hard are the same people who have never touched a raid once.
-
How the -blam!- do people find that hard? Just jump, move back if it looks like 2 of the turbines are going to be at the same place and kill you no matter what, and keep moving.
-
1 ReplyPeople thought it was hard? If that's the case they best look for a different game!
-
2 RepliesUtter BS.... Avoiding the turbine blades was not that difficult. Just felt that way because of the sluggish movement of our characters. Why would Bunghole give us a demo months old... A build that isn't close to the final product.......... Not exactly making me want to keep my preorder.
-
I don't think it was hard. It was just annoying, and it slowed the action. But honestly if Bungie would add interesting jumping puzzles it would have been ok. That one was just boring and annoying.
-
I have to admit, that's re-freakin-diculous.!!
-
It was likely nerfed b4 any of us ran it. Rumor is it was changed b4 we saw it. What we played was simple. We dont know what it was b4.
-
The people who decided that driving a sparrow through a series of turbines in SRL is fun now think that jumping over turbines is difficult.
-
Only further proving that this beta was a waste of time. What is the point if everything we are playing has already been changed? Bungie is just using this as an excuse to give us something people don't like and still sell us copy's by saying things "have already been fixed".
-
That was the easiest part of the entire mission. Except on Warlock
-
They really dumbed down DESTINY 2,,, !!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
This is why there are requirements for raids....
-
Polygon simply reported what Bungie discovered: gamers did not know what to do when they encountered this portion of the mission. I watched several average streamers on Twitch, and they were confused too. At first they thought the arms had to be shot. Then they figured out that you have to jump down to access the turbines. After the disabling the first turbine there are a couple methods that allow you to disable the other turbines.

1 ReplyEdited by meatballsublime: 7/27/2017 5:30:51 PMTo me, it wasn't a matter of hard, it was a matter of unclear. In my opinion, the problem with the turbine room was just trying to figure out what parts of the room were deadly and which parts safe. The indicators weren't clear in that environment: - Is the floor safe? Is that electricity down there? If not safe, is it an insta-death? Slow-death? (answer: slow-death) - Are the turbines safe? Is that electricity damaging or just for effect? Will it cause insta-death? Slow-death? (answer: insta-death... unless you land just right on the top of one) - What part of the turbines should I shoot? (I eventually went to my ghost because no indicator appeared.) ..In other words, I think people died in the room due to trial-and-error, not difficulty.
-
Embarrassing shit. The only part that was mildly confusing for about 2 minutes was they said "destroy the turbines" and there was like 3 turbines right in front of you. I kept shooting the bigger one until I figured it out. That said those spinning arms never came close to killing me once and after you realized what turbine to shoot it was easy as hell
-
People seriously had issues with that section?
