Destiny 2: Revenge of the Potatoes
Long ago, in a galaxy far far away, too many feelings were hurt in Destiny PVP. Sensing this disturbance in their casual player counts, the evil Bungo made a corporate decision to implement the unthinkable: remove the skill gap.
What their spreadsheets didn't tell them, was that dumbing down the game would drive their core audience away and kill the franchise.
Potatoes everywhere are studying heat maps and preparing to set their sights simultaneously at guardian's heads!! Take that, streamers, gunskill rules!
What noone realized is that without the ability to make heart pounding plays game after game, many players will leave the republic forever. Leaving only a sad, nerdy circle jerk of team firing and the constant shriek of high pitched call outs.
Many say a hero will emerge to clean house at Bungo and bring balance to the meta. Only time will tell.

gonna miss destiny. it was imbalanced and annoying to play at times and destiny 2 has somewhat fixed that by balancing the game out pretty well and making it more competitive. but i dont really want competitive all the time. i want to have fun. if i wanted to compete i would play a real life sport or at least a game that has already been established as competitive and esport worthy such as call of duty or halo. destiny was fun for me but personally i feel like it has been overrun by people who want it to be a super competitive esport and have forced bungie to make it that way, and thats coming from myself being someone who [i]only[/i] plays pvp. destiny wasn't perfect. it could have been better. but i feel like i got more fun out of it than i will out of destiny 2. i know the OP was a joke but still i feel like its relevant

All those youtubers complaining about the lack of primary gameplay in D1 are now starting to put out their D2 montages. You know what you do not see in these clips: Teamwork and primary gunplay. It is Snipes/Fusions/Supers/Shotguns 24/7. But introspection is a little too much for youtubers.

Then make a retarded post about how the scrubs aren't good at your preferred destiny. But the beta that you shit the bed in is broke and made for less skilled players. Did I get that right? I suck at them both and had fun with both. I didn't know bungie was paying mother-blam!-ers bills because they go positive in a game. How do I get in on that shit.

1 ReplyIf D2 is going to be star wars, i want my hunter to have a lightsaber that can deflect bullets. And now that i think about it.... hunters kinda look like jedi's. Warlocks have that "force push" as melee. And titans fist of havoc is pretty much a "force explosion".... Destiny is just a star wars rip off.....

3 RepliesI completely agree with you! Destiny 2 looks and plays just like COD. I liked Destiny 1 because it was something different. Now I feel like Bungo made a cheap ripoff of COD and Halo. The time to kill is ridiculously long, heal regeneration and super/ability regeneration time is way to slow. I find myself getting bored after one or two PvP matches. I hope Bungie make serious changes to the final game or I don't think it will last long. Just my opinion
