Why do people resort to this statement. Plenty of people hate the change and they aren't shotgun warriors. My primaries trump my special kills and I hate this new update. It's not about shotguns it's about the lack of options and the lack of fun in the gameplay currently.

Its about loosing their OHK weapon. It does not matter what anybody says otherwise, its about the fact that they used a crutch, and now have to stand on both feet. Nothing more.

How is it a crutch if you have more primary kills than the specials? That doesn't make sense. It's about fun. Not a stale meta full of sidearms. Which still will dominate along with icebreaker because they will at least have ammo.

I guess we agree to disagree. Before the last update, most of the time I was killed was by shotgun warriors. Now, hardly at all. Once in a great while I have been shotgun rushed since the update. As far as I am concerned, that is a great fix, that I really don't care how it was done. I have been having a lot more fun in the crucible now. I was always a primary user, rarely ever use specials.

Well I think you're the minority opinion of the outspoken ones now. Yes matador shoguns warriors were a problem. Essentially killing special wasn't a smart fix. It was lazy. Balancing the range and buffing primaries is what they should've done. They couldn't. That's sad for a development team. I got killed a lot by shotguns last meta, I hated it. I was still able to us a bunch of different specials to counter and It was more fun than this sidearm infested hell hole they call the crucible. And my primaries trump my specials. Also, I sniped more than anything. The game is not fun for a lot of people because the took away the very essence of the game that was why people were attracted to it in the first place. That's why so many people hate it and aren't willing to adapt. This meta is the first time I've actually put Destiny down. It's sad. They killed it this time.

Seen many on the forums that really like it. It is mostly shotgun users that hate it. No more OHK weapons. What it really comes down to, is if they buffed primaries, somebody would be on here saying they are OP. Its a never ending cycle of bitching, regardless of how they chose to fix things. They can not make everybody happy.
