So today I helped a friend of mine go flawless. We got a few rough matches and I didn't do great on every match. On our flawless match however we (all around 1500 elo) came up against 2 streamers. (2.5 trials k/d's after 100+ games this week with 2200elos).
We manage to win the game 5-3, I went 12-3, both of my teammates ended up with 4 kills. So I decided to check out our opponents streams and say GG. The response I got was priceless. The wombo combo shadestep user and stormcaller with mapador decided to trashtalk. According to them I only won because I was using the crutch bubble and crutch no land beyond without flinch.
Which leaves me with the question, when did bubble and no land beyond become crutches?
For those who actually want to see the match:

those saying I was using weapons of light, I wasn't, you can view my setup through the forum, I run armor of light. The damage notification bugged once (showed 127 on a headshot while it did kill) which seems to happen on nlb so now and then.

Technically speaking nlb wouldn't be a bad literal crutch if your leg got broken or sprained

1 ReplySo this is what the forums have stooped to, kinda sad really. Anyone from year one must be dumbfounded hearing that no land and bubble titan is OP. it's a sad day.

2 RepliesEdited by Zero the Remnant: 1/3/2017 9:04:58 AMDid you know... *starts walking up to the camera* That in Destiny Logic: Anything & everything that you kill anyone with is a Crutch & is Overpowered? The only time this isn't a crutch when someone else kills YOU with whatever they are using. *stands proudly as the camera fades to black*

2 RepliesNlb is broken and is a crutch, if you can play with other guns and do just as good it's not a crutch but some only use nlb because they suck.
-
Ummmmm, then these streamers must not have EXISTED in year 1, when NLB and bubble were considered ways to TEST YOUR SKILL, because if you could succeed with them then you were good at Destiny.
-
10 RepliesWell NLB is a bit broken right now, since it has only visual flinch, your reticle doesnt actually move. I wouldnt say bubble is a crutch, but it is a really passive/slow playstyle, which is really boring to play against so i see why they got frustrated.
-
NLB and QBB are in need of flinch. They're two weapons that can be used seamlessly at any range without flinch.
-
It takes skill to use NLB, but with armor? Not at all. It could be with weapons but it would literally be for 1 round
-
A crutch? No. Has it turned into meta lately. Yes.
-
3 RepliesWe all know the biggest crutch in the game is called "Warlock". ;-)
-
Whats the stream name?
-
I don't see anything wrong with NLB. I have however seen more people using Radiant Dance Machines, possibly to counter it? *starts singing "Can't Touch This"*
-
Hunters are a crutch Period .

2 RepliesEdited by dontworch: 1/3/2017 6:06:12 PMI watched the video for a little bit. Do you have a Wild boar running around your house?
-
2 RepliesI always wondered how good players play. It's sit back and wait all match. You didn't push one tiny bit. I guess wait till the opponent is tired of waiting and for them to push you while you're hard scopping. Imma try to play like you to see if I can get better that way.

4 Replieshttps://youtu.be/ARwbBoW4KjI Video from TrueVanguard. He even flat out says the only people saying the nlb is a crutch are the people using crutches and it shuts them down if your good with it. Same with sidearms and fusions. I use all three and no one ever says they are crutches to me. That guy was just crying because you beat him.
-
I won't say nlb is a crutch, but it could use a bit more flinch.
-
There is no mercy in this dojo!
-
Ah, the scrub mentality
-
No land beyond isn't a crutch but the fact that it has no actual flinch and can be paired with a matador to one shot anyone at any range is ridiculous. And by ridiculous I mean it is my least favorite gun to see in trials.
-
Every single thing that inflicts damage or in any way helps your performance in the game are crutches.
Depending on which crybaby you ask
-
damn nice match there imo I feel that the nlb takes skill so I give props to u 👍

2 RepliesDon't sweat those fools. Everyone cries about everything -blam!-ing thing in this game. Grow a -blam!-ing pair bitches! Good job buddy!

Then Defender also has Suppressor Grenades. Let's take another classes super and put it into a 25 sec cool down grenade. Totally balanced smh Edit-You're welcome OP. Blowing up posts is my specialty. I expect the money will be wired within the hour.
i am serious though and 100% believe these are op and crutches.
That's just well played man. What fools, if a streamer shows any sign of being a bad loser I'm instantly not interested in their stream

You're a trashcan. Hahahaha
