To the kids that think capping three zones is a good idea.

Stop, just stop. You flip spawns and feed the other team kills and points. Hold two zones and that's it!!

    • Actually triple capping works if the team can hold their own. If you triple cap and can hold it down for 2 minutes, you pretty much won

          You know what's as bad is that this post that comes up 50 times an Iron Banner with control. WE KNOW!!! The majority of the people doing this don't read forums.

"Ight guys let's just hold C and B" "Hurr durr, guys we'll obviously win faster if we cap A" *Teammate thinking he's a hero caps -blam!-ing A* Enemy team comes back from a 5000 score deficit cause we couldn't rotate spawns again

          • EVERY GOD DAMN game i played yesterday had players doing a damn round robin on points. Very frustrating. Why, cap 2 and defend them. Dont swap spawns, easy win.

          • I agree, there's nothing more annoying than spawning C side on shores of time, having a stranglehold on that side of the map controlling all the tunnels and B, then seeing that blue border start creeping around the A icon as you get shot in the back from your own spawn point

            • I lost a couple matches last night because of this. One minute I'm minding my business, the next I get shot in the back by two enemies because the spawns flipped.

              • That doesn't mean it doesn't have a place in control. You want to cap all three near the end against a team that's 5k score below you. The amount of points you earn is ridiculous.

              • You are preaching to the choir on this one. I am desensitized to it and have learned that I just have to roll with it. Some maps it isn't a big deal but I hate it on shores of time, which is obvious.

                I love the excuses of capping all three. "Oh, we get tons more points guys! " - Says the guy that caps all three, flips spawns, and then proceeds to lose all map control, thus turning the game in the enemy's favour. Map control is the most important thing in any FPS. Apparently, it's the least understood thing to date.

                • For the most part I agree but if your team is doing really really well then capping the 3rd isn't a terrible idea. Now if the score is more even then yeah going for a 3rd is plain stupid as you're more likely going to lose one of yours, die trying or both. That said if you (and possibly another teammate) can hold the zone effectively while the rest of the team crushes the enemy like Clash then 3 zones isn't farfetched.

                • The only time you capture all three zones is when your fireteam is stomping the other team. Kicking the crap out of them. 3000-5000 pt differential. With all things being even you hold two zones. When your team is way better then your opponents capping 3 zones won't hurt you. It's actually quite FUN to see how long you can hold all three. Yes, the spawns flip BUT your point cushion is far enough ahead of the other team that they will never catch you so don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty! I haven't seen the Mercy Rule invoked yet this IB despite being on both sides of the scenario.

                        • Most people I played with went with this strat and we won beautifully, though one game an enemy team had a different strat. They had all six players bouncing from one zone to the next, and of course my team mates bounded after them. Two of us stayed as defenders, it didn't work out so well for us, being beaten to a pulp. I finally gave up defending and decided to bounce along with the rest of the team. We won in the end, but that was the strangest game I played so far.

                          • Also the main point here is get 2. It's not clash 2 zones are needed to win. Also strategic zones are helpful like having b and c on shores of time even if u spawn at a. The outside advantage is very helpful
