So back when Bungie was advertising for TTK they showed in the trailers guardians with the Fr0st-EE5, Thagomizers, and Astrocyte Verse. Those 7 exotics that were advertised as part of your purchase of TTK and that were also added to Bungie's armory were never introduced to the game even though they were advertised. Now for RoI they finally release those exotics, a product that was advertised for TTK. It is sly, and it is dirty.
For example, If you wanted a pepperoni pizza and you went to buy that pizza and found that your pepperoni was missing, you would be pissed.

If you don't have to buy the ROI to start getting them then they are part of TTK and just got released late.

Those 7 exotics that were advertised as part of your purchase of TTK
Exactly when did Bungie during the course of the TTK marketing last year ever guarantee that these exotics would be in the game?
-
Yeah its not really important wether you get them now or not. Its not gonna chanage your whole destiny world and make everything a one shot kill...... So... Yeah.... I got the thagomizers.... Im happy... Its not game changing..... But its still there...

It's like when movies have trailers, and some scenes in the trailers don't make it to the movies release. Like Suicide Squad for example. With your pizza analogy, they show the pizza because it looks cool, and they planned to show us it, but then they realized something was wrong with the pizza and it wasn't good for business. They put it back in the oven and bring it back out better.
How many times have you watched a movie trailer and see scenes that never make it to the final cut? ALL THE TIME
6 RepliesThey did not know how to balance it
-
Haha here we go again
-
Unless they had a trailer featuring them in great detail, anything in the trailer is subject to change. And they've always stated that the armory isn't always gonna be 100% accurate
-
So.. what ya got.. is a cheese pizza?
-
3 RepliesTbh, they haven't said why. It may have been because of Last Gen not being able to handle the textures or the abilities. It also could have been that they were unbalanced when they were going to be introduced, so Bungie held them back.
-
1 ReplyTake ur butthurt elsewhere
-
1 ReplyNo really accurate. They advertised a bunch of exotics in that video and we got most of them. So it's more like we ordered a pizza that was advertised with 20 pepperoni. When we got it, it only had 15.
-
Read the ToS you agreed to when you started playing. Bungie can add or subtract anything at any time.
-
4 RepliesWell, to be fair, they were still in the games code, because Bungie wasn't happy with them yet. I'd rather have to wait for some good exotics then rush and get unpolished, unfinished versions of them

You seem very traumatized by this, I recommend seeking professional help so you can move forward in life.

1 ReplyFine print says they can do whatever they want
-
Totally agree. The Taken King was the beginning of the end of this game, Bungie has lost all credibility to me.
-
4 RepliesThey weren't advertised with anything in the sale of TTK and weren't even in that trailer and when stuff gets temporarily added like that it's often because it's being put through testing
-
6 RepliesSo do most movies false advertise as well? I can't even count the number of movie trailers I've seen with scenes that get cut from the final movie
-
2 RepliesIt depends if the pizza add had fine print that said pepperoni subject to change at discretion of company. Bungo did have the fine print which makes what they did legal but still very sketchy and gross in my book.
-
1 ReplyWhile I would agree, the time for this argument is well overdue.

6 RepliesYou people seriously need to just shut the -blam!- up and -blam!- off already.
