Raid Weapons...please don't suck
Like many of you I'm counting down the days till I have a new raid. With that being said I'm crossing my fingers for epic guns I can be proud of because honestly armor looks nice and all but it doesn't enhance gameplay like an elemental hand cannon with outlaw and firefly.
Bungie please you have time for a hot fix to bump stats up if these guns we are about to grind our hearts out for land closer to TTK quality and less like VoG and CE.
As a dedicated raider I can say the hard cores deserve better weapons than Oryx was willing to hand us. Outside the heavy machine gun and the novelty of firefly on a pulse they weapons were not great. I think a large percent of the community would agree that the vendor Hung Jury smoked any primary Kings Fall had to offer.
Stop acting as if great rolls will break the game. Armsday packages and vendor gear should not be better than raid weapons!

3 RepliesAll the raid guns are armsday weapons infused with siva. You can read the flavor text of the weapon and it'll say it. Such as the auto is the suros AR 41. The perks do make them seem very good imo. The sniper is the erine which is nice.

I absolutely agree, to me raid gear should be just as sought after as trials gear. Sadly both where lacking minus the raid LMG and the trials Doctrine. I feel like we have a whole year ahead of us, to do this raid before Destiny 2 and that is plenty of time to have random rolls on raid weps and get the rolls we actually want, ones that actually work with how the gun actually operates and how we all individually use them. Definitely bump this.

10 RepliesTotally disagree with u. U think that others players don't grind!!! Total $&..!! See that is the main problem with most raiders they think everyone not as good as them... U see some of us like solo play. Crucible and grind just as hard!!! With out all the EGO 's....and we do it on our own merit!! Not needing five other people to help. I understand raiding is fun for a lot of players.. But because u raid doesn't mean u are better period!! And deserve better!!! If u got bad gear from doing raids i understand your compliant . Complain about it. But don't think u should get better gear. Just different gear specific for raiding.. But that gear and light level should not put u at an advantage in crucible (iron banner) or trails. The best thing destiny did was put all of us on same playing field in TTK.. This way iron banner was a lot more fun and competitive in TTK. U know i even raided a couple times but again time restraints keep me from finishing it. Been married for 30 years now and when queen bee needs her time , she gets it. Thanks too the Destiny team for. Equaling the playing field. If u have a complaint about your weapons and gear drops complain.. But don't throw everyone else under the bus!!

12 RepliesI was just looking at some of the new raid weapons. At least I think they are. They have a red Siva "S" on the side. Anyways, I saw the new rocket launcher... Crota had the tracking+ cluster bomb combo. Kings fall had one or the other. The new RL doesn't have either. What the hell?

5 RepliesAgreed, I want a reason to play the raid. I missed the grind of VoG and scrota and when I heard there would not be elemental primaries I was pissed. Then I saw those ugly pieces of shit called raid weapons and each person has a different opinion but most of those weapons weren't worth a damn.

The synergy of the perks of the new raid weapons sound pretty interesting! However, if they are just black and red Gunsmith weapons like how it is looking out to be, I'm going to be pretty disappointed. I've never been a stickler for reskins in Destiny, but reskins of gunsmith weapons? For a raid? I don't know.

3 RepliesI just want the raid to be a good balance between mechanics and burns. If it has 3 different bosses 2 can be point and burn then the third could be spin in a circle while praising the light after playing red light green light.

Yeeesssssssss guardian. I honestly can't remember the last time I felt the need to use the raid weapons (meaning the primary's), the only ones I used are the raid lmg, sniper, and fusion rifle. I didn't use the sniper much but it isn't a terrible weapon. The raid lmg I used a bit in crucible, but even then I eventually switched to the trials lmg. And the raid fusion rifles is actually pretty decent if u got a roll with hip fire, but then again u have to be a fusion user like myself to even consider using it, otherwise most people trashed it. The raid weapons for the most part were just simply outclassed
