1 ReplyI think Bungie is getting closer and closer to reaching optimal balance
-
Did anyone try out gorilla fighter yet?
-
16 RepliesAnd no ones mad about Universal Remote? It got hit really -blam!-ing hard. 75% reduction to range on its exotic perk? And a buff to rate of fire so you can nerf the damage? What the -blam!- bungie?!?! We thought you changed, but your still just Activision's little bitch.

3 RepliesGemini is about to be the new Mida lol

9 RepliesEdited by wowchild18: 9/9/2016 7:55:52 AMBoolean Gemini!
-
2 RepliesWhat archetype is Haakon's Hatchet, did it get the lower ammo or increased damage? It's always felt kind of inbetween mid and high fire rate, at least to me.
-
7 RepliesEdited by damienshii: 9/9/2016 6:03:21 AMThe update hardly changed anything except made shotguns better than they already are.

So far the buffs to Lyudmila and dregs promise are fantastic, the overall side arm buff works well too, NTTE seems the same, headseeker's a nice bonus though. Boolean gemini feels much more viable in PvE, which is fantastic. So far that's all I've bothered to test. As a bonus; The Cloak of Taniks changes with shaders, and god it's amazing because of that.

2 RepliesOh wow yea man im stoked! Are you super pumped bro? Those new nerfs look dank!
-
Once again they've catered to the casual market, which is fine tbh. Good players will Just adapt and move on.

Across the board, they did alright. My biggest gripe is the change to unflinching, as player tests proved the perk pretty damn useless. The other thing that confuses me is the nerf to non hitscan sidearms, I mean, why exactly do they hit the ones needing predictive aim? Changes I was hoping to see was an actual fix to hand cannon bloom rather than giving all hand cannons high range stats. I remember bungie wanting to separate hand cannon designs from that of a scout rifle, but this change really contradicts that. I was also hoping to see something about machine gun ammo capacity, as they hit ALL machine guns due to the quillims terminus popularity. And perhaps making accelerated coils better for fusion rifles, as the perk now has a really negligible bonus, and a decently large drawback for using it.

Going to be the return of nerwins and red death. I'm sure a lot of people are going to be glad about the UR nerf. Myself included lol. (-blam!- the crutch sticks lol) I wish they added conspiracy theory and Party Crasher to that. The crows eye already had some pop to it. I'll probably use a little more now. I hardly ever used thorn and I just don't understand why they're spitting all over this gun. I actually enjoyed the challenge of going against them back in Year One. Snipers don't bother me and I'll even pick mine up once in a blue moon (sweet Eirene) so I remain neutral on whatever happens to them. I laughed my ass off when bungie said to stop with the nerf Fusions joke. My Fusion are still safe! And I do hope the fix to Firefly is a real fix so I can use my tuonela and vanity again.

2 RepliesPretty good overall. Universal Remote got freaking obliterated though, lol. I really like the underused perk buffs. They TRIPLED Guerilla Warfare! Guerilla Warfare new meta!!! Lol!
-
The thorn nerf seems excessive to me. But it'll keep it from becoming crucible cancer so whatever
-
2 RepliesI was getting melted by sidearms... maybe the "season" of the sidearm is finally here??
-
Edited by Airb3nder704: 9/9/2016 6:31:29 AMNTTE!! Already was fond of this gun. It has a new intrinsic perk now. Excited to try red death too.
-
2 RepliesI'm glad they didn't nerf fusion rifles. The rest seems OK. I don't get why they nerfed the unflinching perk though. I never thought it was useful In the first place so I don't get why they nerfed it.
-
Rubbish as normal they've just -blam!-ed more up, killed my interest of RoI
-
2 RepliesPros this meta are players are using primarys more often, scouts are good, autos except high impact are good. Low impact pulses are decent, side arms specially that burst one is godlike. Cons are high impact snipers are not competitive anymore, feels over nerfed(cant 1 shot supers anymore)& will deter new players from using snipers, my prediction is that high rof snipers like PR will become the most used sniper type if any decide to stick with sniper because it is easy to get quick double body shots with it. Hand cannons are still inconsistant bc of bloom, and the new grain effect the game now has makes destiny look weird and hard to look at.

10 RepliesI really like it. It is literally what Id do. I love how they buffed mid rate of fire pulse without nerfing high rate of fire pulses(I am interested to see how this works). No Time to Explain is much improved, I enjoyed it. I had a good game with my pdx41 as well. I didnt notice a huge difference in dmg from my Righteous VII, but I will see how it goes over the next few days with that gun and my ARI-41. I think the Suros Regime archetype should have been buffed as well, but overall good job Bungie.

2 RepliesSad about the Thorn nerf, but Fabian Strategy is actually pretty awesome now. Decent in Crucible and a blast to use in PVE. Nice buff!
-
4 RepliesRed death is finally perfect
-
For once they did more good than harm
-
I'm happy about the tuning But I'm even more happy about the oranment sneak peak A lot of them look amazing
-
1 ReplyLoving my Fabian. Got a double down with it!

Agree with everything except Touch That wasn't a balancing issue, that was a "You are not completing the raid right" issue, Ghorn being left out of Year 2 was also a result of the same issue .
