      • No land beyond users who are good still kick my butt but I'm not complaining since they're the best of the best, lol the other kids aren't used to terrible snipers though. well, now it will take much more skill to snipe I suppose but it just means snipers can have more pride and be known for their prestige more so than shotgunners

          • Red death still isn't that great. No time to explain is meh. Haven't tried sniping supers but they seem fine. Shotguns feel around the same. Haven't tried side arms.

            • As a sniper I've noticed more stagger, not enough to concern though. I've noticed slower ads movement, which once used to will elevate my play being able to instantly switch from a primary with 10 sensitivity to a slow moving ads sniper. Scope in time seems even slower than before. Overall nothing I'll die over. Just going to switch to spindle again.

            • They -blam!-ed up the matchmaking. I'm only spawning into games about to end in salvage and the only way I was able to get into a game fresh was with 1 or 2 other guys.

            • As a sniper user I'm kinda annoyed. I understand the damage lowering and aim assist lowering of mid tier. That invokes variety. But as it stands now due to flinch...any primary can beat one easily. Snipers now hold 0 advantages over anything. Primary can beat em....shotgun can beat em, sidearm can beat em. I would even wager a fusion rifle would even beat em cause the zoom changes that happened earlier. Snipers in that aspect were literally destroyed. Use snipers at a range.....all of our crucible are close to mid range. Snipers no longer have a place and frankly as someone who enjoys sniping and the great feeling of getting headshots, I'm annoyed.

                  • Support the update besides for 5 things: 1: Snipers needed a flinch and AA nerf, that's it nerfing the damage was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, hurts bad for pve and didn't affect pvp in any way. 2: Touch of malice, now it's only useful for deathsisters, the blessing was a good strat and should have been acknowledged by bungie as clever and left alone, having an exotic for a single encounter is pretty stupid. 3: Thorn, it was fine after the april nerfdate, no reason for it to take a 3rd nerf, I love how bungie tangled it for RoI then nerfed it with 2 weeks to go, they'll do the same with gally, bait then nerf. Pretty low tbh. 4: Sleeper simulant, really? You care if people can solo oryx? Strange nerf 5: Grenades and horseshoes, the perk was already nerfed for TtK now again? And why? Because they want people to use cluster bombs, this goes back the the problem that bungie tries to tell players what they should use, no one is going to use clusters over grenades and horseshoes, especially since guardians are airborne and mobile targets, especially by heavy ammo, everyone will be using truth and machine guns now. Let the felwinter, matador, party crasher, conspiracy, etc meta commence once more!!! :D

                  • Spindle can still 1hk a super (i think) But i saw something saying this reduction to 1kys family may be because they are bringing in more snipers in the spindle type plus its only max armour. So titans will be though yes but most hunters will still be squishy. I dont run max armour. Although i may have to try...

                  • Haven't read all the changes yet but on snipers reduced aim assist and more flinch im fine with but reducing damage so you can't shutdown supers is stupid and hurts pve

                        Pulse Meta is back and sidearms are great. I haven't even touched a sniper since the patch which is great because I've been a sniper user since day 1. Been using nothing but Reflection Sum Adept + Trespasser all day in Crucible and wrecking people. Edit: I haven't used Mida or TLW since update either. I think I may have found a new combo to use in Crucible. :)

                          Haven't played pvp in like forever After playing nothing but Overwatch and Dark Souls 3 since they came out, the skirmish match I played started off terribly (5 deaths in a row) until I got used to it again. Then we started stomping them but alas, we still lost I might take up pvp again. It makes me all jittery.

                          • Was a bit hurt over the 75% decrease on range to the Universal Remote Perk, but an increase in fire rate should make up for it... Plus a mild buff for Shotguns in general is a great plus, as they were nerfed through the floor, when the only one that was a real problem was the Conspiracy Theory D... I hate that gun... And I'm a Shotty man through and through

                            • Honestly I thought primaries were designed to be sniper counters at their respective ranges. I am just happy scouts can take on sniper rifles again.

                              • Sniper - can still one shot body...haven't tried against supers yet...still good just have to avoid getting hit. uni - i can probably win 90-100% battles against them now with my fusion rifle range. XD Tom - still good with weapons of light and force barrier in crucible so doesn't bother me. Sidearm - dregs promise is def better XD Auto rifle - fabian strategy has good range and dmg now Pulse - red death and no time did fairly well in crucible A lot of guns to choose from to usr in crucible and pve
