It's not fun or challenging, it's just annoying and a waste of time.
Sincerely,
Everyone

1 ReplyEdited by Genghis Johnson: 8/10/2016 5:55:33 PMA post I read here awhile back said it best: trickle is Bungie telling us, "Hey, you know the stuff you like most about Destiny's gameplay? We're turning it off for this activity! Have a lovely day!"
-
Agreed, its definitly the most boring modifier in the game
-
BUMP! I play this game cause of the supers. It's what makes our will to bend the light!!! Not just gunslinging!

In CoE, where your goal is to get ability kills, yes. Nightfalls, it changes your playstyle.

Trickle is a nuisance. In the spirit of the competition to get the highest CoE score, Trickle with Grenade Bonus poses an interesting bind that those who chase that 1st place finish will have to overcome. In that way, it's kinda cool. However, people that just want to knock out a 30k run and enjoy it their time doing so will just get frustrated, which is about 95% of people. I personally won't play CoE any more because I burned myself out in April, completing it 100+ times. My last consistent CoE runs were in June. Anyhow, here's a BUMP and hopefully Bungie notices for the sanity of people that still play these activities.

+ Love the idea, trickle is a bitch when you start looking at your clock.
-
a LOT of things in this game are annoying and simply waste your time its the sign of out of touch devs who don't play their own game for fun
-
Keep the bumps coming.

Get rid of Trickle, and put Radiant Light buff in the game upon completing CoE. (Blue Flames on your guardians head and XP boost)
-
This many upvotes and comments without so much as a robotic "will forward to devs" slice of drivel. Really feeling the love, Bungie.

1 ReplyStop crying. Just have 2 people run sunsinger with void fang. Fusion grenade, run to target, die with target, fellow guardian revive you, repeat. Easy.

25 RepliesEdited by King Nis: 8/10/2016 9:55:57 PMTrickle has been around since HoW and it's an issue now? Is it only because of the grenade kill bonus? I'm honestly trying to understand why there is so much complaining about it now. It's just a set of modifiers. It's an optional activity you can do. There's no sense in having 15 posts or more, flood the forums to have a modifier removed from the game entirely because it makes an activity "annoying" or to tough to do.

100% agree. It's supposed to be fun, even in a challenge mode and pointlessly making you have to sit for 10 minutes to get your grenades back for a grenade kill-event is soooooo boring.

Agreed, turns the match into a grind fest. At least with Exposure I get a sense of survivability and that makes the matches intense and fun, but trickle? My Titan runs a grenade build, Armamentarium, Army of One and Grenadier, Orbs restore grenade energy, tier 5 dis, Simmering Flames, and I get to chuck 3-4 grenades per round, and the -blam!-ed up part is that when I chuck the damn grenade, its to take out 1-2 adds because the rest is dead. I prefer any burn with Light switch, Grounded, Exposure, and angry, than a Trickle, even if the its the only modifier, not going to do it sorry.

3 RepliesAs annoying as trickle is, it is a good modifier because it makes you rely more on your gun skill, and not your space magic. When paired with a grenade bonus though, it gets even better. You need to be spot on with your placement, timing, and communication within the fire team. It also makes you think about your set up too. For example, I used the "scavenger" perk for gunslinger for the first time ever (and it worked really well).

Bump, and make the rewards worth the challenge
