So Many People Haven't Completed This MOT
This year is much different than last year, in that I know quite a few people who haven't completed their moments of triumph. I'm also seeing many more people online trying to get it all done.
I'm very surprised by this, and I like that it's just a little more special than last year's MOT.

FYI: You can transfer the book between characters and check off things. So if you did the pvp quest on your Titan and the raids on your warlock, just transfer it between them and check both off.

I did the year 1 MoT. Don't care about Y2 MoT. I just play at night when I have time.

That's because one requirement is to collect 50 collectibles and another is to do a quest people whine about for no reason.

I quit a couple months ago and came back and didn't know about the Moments of Triumph for Year 2 at all. My book was already 4 out of 5 done when I logged on for the first time back. All I needed to do was Challenge of Elders. I knocked that out of the way and now I have it done. I played both aspects of the game: the pve content and pvp content and I guess I got them done on the way.

They extended year one because so many people hadn't completed it there is still 2 months left just relax

Never going to get the exotic swords. Even if I wanted (which I don't) them Bungie crucible banned me for 2 months. Not for any reason. So won't get the mildly ok looking emblem. No big loss, but still feels like getting the finger.

1 ReplyI never did the crucible quest and I didn't care too until the mot list officially came out. I got to say even though it was long, ridiculously long, it was cool to play game modes I'd never normally play, use weapon types I never use, I only do PvP during iron banner but this quest was pretty cool.

1 ReplyAs a casual solo player who also have a family and a full time job, getting the calcified fragments is what's going to stop me from achieving this year's Moments of Triumph.

I'd like to point out that the progress within the book is spread throughout all characters. For example, if I collected all of the Calcified Fragments on my titan, than I can go to my warlock's MOT book and see that it was done. No transferring of the book is required.

3 RepliesAs a total non PvP player my heart sank when I realized that I needed to do the mountain top quest BUT I decided to try and to be honest I enjoyed the challenge, did a little each day, for me the hardest bit was hand cannon kills...managed to complete it and now also a little better in PvP.. I do agree though as some play PvP and some pve I feel bungie could have actually done 2 separate year 2 challenges. PvP based and pve based...

I won't be finishing mine in protest to the grotesque y2 pve&raid. However... It feels good. Thank you Bungie. Don't hand stuff out. I chose not to participate and do [u]not[/u] deserve rewards. I got two. It's perfect.

I was able to complete them even though i have a busy life, exercises (not much of that though since i like to keep a certain part of the body jiggly), and other stuff. The good thing that people are not required to complete all of the requirements in order to be rewarded like on Y1.

2 RepliesWho's actually going to keep this emblem on though when i bet the 1st mission or quest from the new DLC will give an even better looking one. Was it DB or TTK where there were new emblems for most of the quests/missions?
