Petition for a primary weapon only crucible mode
Based on feedback, that would only include auto rifles, hand cannons, pulse rifles and scout rifles.
Exotics occupying the wrong slot would probably have to be tossed out of the mix. If not, it defeats the purpose of the primary only mode.
No supers. No grenades. Maybe no melee. I'm undecided on this one.
You would be able to switch between three different primary weapons the same way it is done now.

They've said in multiple interviews they don't want to change the core behaviour of your guardian in any game mode, so disabling things like that is a no go, but they could use existing features like trickle in a pvp mode which would significantly reduce the use of supers and abilities. That and changing how long before special shows up or if it shows up at all would essentially give you what you are looking for.

4 RepliesMy idea for this has long been a rotation of primaries that everyone spawns in with. Everyone spawns with the same randomly selected primary, and that primary changes with each match. No exotics.

Just make it like team tactical from halo makes it essentially primaries only anyway and won't restrict weapons... side arms may be an issue

That sounds really boring but hey more power to you. All of the hyper sweaty, MLG streamers can all go play that while I enjoy some regular Control or Clash with my friends. Cheers

That is what I need now. My play style has me almost never use my special and in my latest matches all of the shotgun runners are picking at my last nerve.

2 RepliesNah leave Universal and NLB in. I think it would fit the archetype quite well. After all they now have no secondary to bail them out when they -blam!- up which happens quite frequently imo.

It's a good idea but there top tier players wouldn't play it. Trials should be a primary weapon only game. A TRUE measure of ones skill in this game should not be how hard they can scope up with a sniper.
