IB was great!
I started at about 314ish and ended last night at 328. I'm happy and had a great time leveling up slowly but surely. I'm grateful Bungie made IB an outlet for end game gear again. Us lone wolf solo players with limited time appreciate it.

2 RepliesI never hated iron banner so much. Clash is honestly the worse for iron banner. Even when I did great I felt like I did poorly. The slow campiness of it all. Only time I had fun was playing with friends.

Definitely. I don't play destiny to much but I enjoy playing it every once in a while and this allowed me to really level up my characters by giving all the extra armor to my hunter while using my warlock who went from 309 to 323

Yea, I got a lot of drops for infusion last week. It was cool seeing lower level players get drops higher than their light level. It's like the HoW era all over again. Good times. Everyone has high end gear to chase now.

I agree. I hope IB stays like this. It is a rare event, but if you put some effort in it (as a player) you get good gear. I was never so happy with Iron banner before.

3 RepliesI didn't get any end of match rewards which were higher than my current gear. I reached level 5 and kept playing. Don't know wtf happened. (I did get the level 3 and 5 package rewards, but no decent random drops)

Agreed I really enjoyed the games and most of the time had close games which is good. Really enjoys some good drops and the crucible booster worked a treat for a few extra high level rewards as a cherry on top. Good show Bungie.

I went from like 290 to almost 310, reached max rank on all characters and got more Hatchets than one character can hold! As a casual player, this was the first activity in ages that made me interested in raising my light level.

2 RepliesThe loot system is so good now. It should have given this much ability to progress all along. Now, if we could get the drops rates from this Iron Banner applied to strikes and crucible playlists all the time, that would be fantastic.

1 ReplyWas the best so far. Managed to get all three to 335. Not sure they will stick with the high level drops though. Have a feeling the next DLC will have the same system as when TTK first dropped. Well done

Loot was fantastic, but clash was meh. I'll be excited to see it switch back to a different game mode but month

See if you can spot the game where I switched back to Gunslinger. Anyways, Nightstalker shenanigans aside, Iron Banner was great. Far more 'On the Bright Side...' medals than I would have liked, but that's pretty typical of Clash. The drops were amazing this time around, all my characters shot up 10 levels, and I was reminded how much I love my Lord of Wolves shotgun. So glad it made it to year two.

I couldn't lvl up my hunter in the whole process to rank 5 I only got 2 ghost and 3 cloaks

Me too. Started at 324 jumped all the way to 334 on my main. Got so many drops I pulled my toons up to 333 too.

1 ReplyTwas fun, indeed. I'm now dismantling 335 boots and class items cause i dont need anymore. Dem drops were proper. Laggers were still present. But so is the moon, so we deal. Hoping we skip Rift and go back to Control for the next one. Cha cha cha!

Agreed. Drops were great, fun was had. Now that all the casuals have left it's back to the usual PvP douchebaggery.

Great for gear rubbish for game play!!! Would much rather play rift or control than clash!! I mean who the hell enjoys clash it is rubbish!!

2 RepliesOnly manage a few lights levels higher, and that was from ranking up crucible. Al I kept getting was boots and boots. I enjoyed iron banner, but not very helpful this time around. On a bonus though, opened a shoe shop in the tower with all the boots I got..

It was. Apart from a couple of laggy games, it was enjoyable for the most part.
