I started at about 314ish and ended last night at 328. I'm happy and had a great time leveling up slowly but surely. I'm grateful Bungie made IB an outlet for end game gear again. Us lone wolf solo players with limited time appreciate it.

You know. I never really touched IB in year one (suck at pvp, lol) but I would have to agree, it's fun. Making me a better crucible player each time. Lol. As for your comment "lone wolf, solo player with limited time", that's something I believe is by choice. My clan is always looking for solid players regardless of time. Send me a friend request, what's the worst that happens. Lol. What's your typical time frame. 360 or Xbone. Anyway. Have a good one. Maybe I'll come across you in the next IB

8 RepliesIt reminded me of a soup kitchen for the homeless. Bungie welfare for the useless or casual guardians.
-
Probably most fun I've had in Iron Banner in a long time.

This was the first IB that I actually felt the need to run my alts through, which is also the first time I felt like getting all characters to lvl 5. Thank you Bungie, for making the game somewhat fun again

2 RepliesI thought it was very good. Loot very good. Don't like Clash though. Too much chaos and camping; an in-game obj-mode keeps more people actually engaged in the thing. I noticed a lot of people quitting if losing and Wednesday night (UK) was a complete lag-switch fest of cheats. I can handle a laggy game but players who start teleporting just before they engage isn't a networking issue, it's cheating!
-
Honestly I'm just happy it was clash...objective based modes like control or rift are my favorite, but can be easily messed up by one or two players who don't play the objective...at least with clash it's simple and straight forward...kill things and try not to die.

Check out my Ib highlights
-
Nah it wasn't rift. We need rift next time.

13 RepliesGood drops. There is only one problem I had with it: auto rifles. The last two (maybe 3) Iron Banners that I've played my auto rifle has done very, very little damage. My Scout Rifle, on the other hand, seems to destroy everyone in 3 to 4 shots. What gives! I get no solid answers about this.

8 RepliesEdited by xJaeBx: 5/4/2016 2:22:51 PMBest connection stability I've seen in awhile, for IB. I criticize bungie all the time, I can give them props when they get it right also. Gj bungie

No mention of the lag at all!

2 RepliesI enjoyed it, but was surprised not to see any gear but boots drop. Never saw a helmet or chest piece or the sniper. But it was fun. It really is fun to play when you have a nice chance of getting something you need.

6 RepliesMy experience: -Loot: Similar to yours, I have gone up to 328 light cos of IB. I got a lot of class items though, I would have preferred a few more armour pieces but can't complain. The ship could do with a drop rate buff tho as I've never seen it drop. I'd like to also see a buff to the loot buff from Medallions of Iron. - Gameplay: There has been awkward lag, as in we allow weren't fully synced up. So I'd get shot down before I even saw someone turn a corner, I'd kill someone five seconds after firing the last shot. It said we were all green bars tho. - Meta: I didn't see a dominant one tbh. A lot of doctrines but I feel that that's the alternate compliment to snipers since TLW was nerfed (I only saw two TLWs in the entire week). Didn't see very many sidearms, there were more fusions and shotguns tho. - There wasn't any dominant class either, there wasn't any singular subclass who seemed to dominate more than others. I saw a surprising number of gunslingers tho since I'm used to see Nightstalkers as the main hunter class used. - All in all I enjoyed it, the lag was the main qualm I had with it, but it wasn't game breaking and I did have some good connections for matches.

I would agree it was a good place to level up
-
Leveling up SLOWLY?!?
-
I'd agree, enjoyed clash and the drops were great. More of the same please bungie.

11 RepliesEdited by Ayush2001: 5/4/2016 10:41:53 PMI started out as a 327 and ended as a 332. My only problem was that the people I went were to easy to beat. I constantly went positive and one game I went 27 and 6.

5 RepliesIn terms of drops? Yes it was very good. Gameplay? Typical laggy mess as always, almost other match i saw a couple red bars winning everything and were untouchable

Yeah. Like 1 year ago. Now it's just yawn

1 ReplyIt was hands down the best IB that has been wrought out of the flames of hell the first IB was. This model sets us up to see HoW levels of pure enjoyment with complete builds in any configuration, in any armor and this all appeals to me GREATLY! No more having to literally be stuck, if you are lucky enough to get there, with one level 320 set or maybe 2 variations. The events plus the weeklies are making it so that over the summer I can create intellect/discipline builds for all ammo types and reloads with multiple combos for my exotics. Why does any of this matter? Variety is the spice of life. Thank you Bungie. Please kill yourselves before you completely f-up the game like you did after HoW. -Management

Loot was great. But every other banner from here forward will suck. Loot wise. Too much to quick. Pretty soon the trolls will be out complaining here's no point in doing anything blah blah
-
Any IB without Burning Shrine can't be great. But it was good. Had fun, got loot.
-
2 RepliesThank you for taking Cathedral out of the map rotation.
-
It was the most inconsistent IB I've ever played lol. I went 23-0 one game, 7-12 the next. I got one shotted by 335 spindles and firebolts a couple times, but somehow still managed to get to rank 5.

I didn't do quite that well, but I have two Guardians in the 320's now. It was a good time. I still think the Rift one was my favorite. I doubt it'll happen again because of the issues with fireteams, but nice while it lasted.
