They should not stick to people. Lightning grenades do not.

Agree. The only grenade in the game that can stick a Guardian or wall. If a Gunslinger misses sticking you it's going to stick the wall behind you and blow up. Win-win but cheap as hell.

My problem is when they clearly detonate on someone and it leaves them with 0.01 health

My problem is that they don't do over 194 damage even if someone is standing directly in front of them, suck it up kid

I got a postmortem double kill last night with one in IB after I had rezzed and had already gotten another kill lol.

I will say that I've thrown many tripmines that enemies stand next to and don't explode and if they do explode the enemy doesn't get hurt. Tripmines are so ineffective that having them stick to enemies sort of balance it all out.

Except that trip mines only explode once and not 5 times.

I don't care if someone argues "Max armor +subclass armor" THAT GRENADE SHOULD KILL YOU. always has! Besides I use them as intended. Lay on wall, wait for idiot to walk by. the guys who use it as a means to stick a target in pvp are just assholes. (Also.... Jee... Wouldn't it make SO MUCH SENSE if the tripmine that I can stick to walls DIDN'T stick to people?)

Pshh fellow hunters for mayhem rumble run max discipline with ahamakara's spine and you can literally have [b]7 tripmines active at one time[/b] so many random double kills

5 RepliesTrip mines and magnetic grenades are different. For each type of grenade, there is one for each type of damage. For stickies, there are fusions, fluxes and magnetic nades. For the aoe, there are vortex, pulse, and solar nades. For the stick to the wall, there are the terrible void ones, lightnings, and trip mines. Trip mines are the only one of the 3 that stick. I honestly agree with you.

My tripmines NEVER kill someone. I threw a tripmine on a wall and this guy is right next to it, but keeps him alive. But, when someone throws a tripmine next to me, when I have max armor, it ALWAYS kills me. Like Wtf?!
