Thank you Bungie for the new update.
That's right.... Thank you.
Thank you for reaffirming why I left and will never come back.
It is hilarious that you just keep putting out the same cr@p, labelled as an update, and expect the player base to be excited about it.
Yay - lets grind out Kings Fall some more.
Yay - lets do the missions that you took away, only to reintroduce them and call them an update.
Yay - lets get stung by the loot system that is purposefully designed to shaft the players, again, again and again - because that's the only thing you can think of to keep people playing.
Yay - lets spend more time on LFG sites because you are too stupid to look at a game like the Division and realise matchmaking CAN be implemented for everything.
Ahhh Bungie - at lease you make me laugh.

I don't mind content being reimagined as long as I'm not paying for it. I agree that infusion is too abusive. Matchmaking is needed.
-
They are so disconnected and lost. Laughable is right. Such a lame attempt to bring players back.
-
1 ReplyYup bungie is like the honey badger... they both don't give a shit

People wanted their year one items to be brought up automatically and be equal to the year two gear. They didn't want to have to replay the missions and activities they already grinded out for months to get the same exact gear but a different color. Also the new double RNG will make it 10x as repetitive and annoying. People aren't so mad that it's old content brought back, it's the fact that you get armor you already have stored in the vault just year two.

5 RepliesI agree with everything you say except for matchmaking, at least not for high level activity like raids or ToO just.....no... Have you ever completed a raid? On hard? ToO is important to work as a team, you can't play a skirmish match without someone just running off trying to be a hero. LFG really isn't hard to use or time consuming at all soo....

It'll be a welcomed change for me. I've already grown bored of the division. Been playing a little Dark Souls 3, but I'm complete garbage at it. I'm tired of companies releasing content half assed and then bringing "free" content to the board when it should have released with the full game.

Edited by Kweh: 3/25/2016 4:33:47 PMEh. It's really what you paid for already this whole time. It was just locked away to fool people into thinking it was new content. They already admitted to just using a bare bones team to work on D1 and all other resources are on D2. Put 2 and 2 together people! Do people really think a team of what, 3-4 people, made all this new content? People in general (not you) are so oblivious. It's like having to explain "they are laughing at you, not with you" all over again.

16 Replies#1. Matchmaking could be implemented in Destiny. It's not to support the idea of a challenge. #2. Having just hit lvl 30 in the Division? That game doesn't require endgame matchmaking, but makes it essentially impossible to do without matchmaking. Destiny? I can have fun and run a solo nightfall. Do that on a daily challenge mission. Go ahead. Upload the hour long video at least when you are done. #3. RNG is based on the same factors of WoW and Rift. It's there? To say that a gun was maintained by a monster which requires no modification or equipment additions and is perfectly capable of firing on it's own. Destiny is about fun and that means the experience being worth it to keep going back with friends to do the challenges in the hopes of that good drop, but if not? You still laughed your way or had a flawless run through it all. #4. I've been around for this argument since Day 1 and I still ask, in complete honesty, what content you seem to think was taken away. I know why Bungie has the financial shortcomings and why Destiny 1 was destined for less overall end user enjoyment factors, but you seem to be clueless about it all. When the money runs out? Bungie has to take a look at the financial factors and see what can be done about it. If you want to keep certain things? You need to sacrifice certain things. #5. grind King's Fall? If you don't like that raid then maybe you should go check out Warhammer 40k or WoW. Maybe you'll like those raids...

2 RepliesI personally really liked Poe and I'm glad there bring it back

34 RepliesEverything in Division vs everything in Destiny is a big difference seeing that the divisions endgame is just redoing old missions on a harder difficulty whereas destiny's endgame has continually consisted of an activity that favors mechanics over typical generic encounters that forces you have some sort of communication to get passed the very first part. Slap a raid in the division and give it matchmaking and see how painful it is when the people you are put together with have no sense of cooperation.
-
It's true. Bungie constantly reaffirms how bad of a company they have become with every Destiny update!
-
Thank you for leaving...well...sadly, you're still here. Maybe Destiny just isn't for you.
-
Agreed. The community that is left needs to face reality and finally give up on Bungie. They ruined a great game, and will continue their dirty ways with Destiny 2.
-
Don't like it? Then quit playing Destiny and go to you're division forums. Or be a man and suck it up.

2 RepliesI've used this anology before for other things, but can be applied to Destiny. Destiny is like the McDonalds of the gaming world, tasty and appealing to most, but unhealthy and loaded with crap. This is fine, who doesn't like McDonalds once in a while (me included), but MY REAL PROBLEM, is when people make it out to be more than, like it's a 'fine gourmet meal'. So, the update is in no way surprising. It's like when McDonalds add a special themed item for a month which is only slightly different to what's already on the menu.

A T rated game will do T rated things my friend. Everyone needs to realize this.

13 RepliesOk well .....see you later. Bye bye. I think it is going to be fun and i will be playing .. Oh just talk to four of my son friends ages 19-20. about the division tonight And they all at same time said lame ( well they used other words ) i just said lame to be nice, these same four guys Quit destiny after year one cause they couldn't carry over there hard earned gear. They didn't cry .. They just moved on. So any way i had one of them play with my hunter last week & he got hooked again ...got the other 3 guys back on board to play again. They all agree destiny is probably the best game out there. So now they are having fun again getting ready to rule ToO again which they did in the past..My point is if you don't like what destiny did or is doing ...give your opinion then just move on or stay and play. Which is what u did so now move on. Peace out and have fun

1 ReplyThey don't listen to important ideas and feedback.

Are they keeping Infusion? Will there be Elemental weapons? If they are keeping infusion and still have no elemental weapons, this is not going to get me to come back.
-
Destiny didn't need reaffirming..

Someone who doesn't play the game anymore... Yeah we totally care about what you have to say, please keep telling us your opinion instead of playing the division. These long post on b.net are the only way to show your hatred for the game, that you don't play.
