The only reason people think it's better is because Destiny is in a content drought we're all frustrated over, and the Division is a new game that we're all starting from scratch in. Not that the Division is a bad game though, because it's not. Just a practical opinion.

That rating is a little harsh. I would give it a 7 at least. But I understand most of the guys points. The world is empty with pre-planned encounters. The endgame is the same missions but just at higher difficulty. And the dark zone is always dead because their is no incentive to go rogue.

3 RepliesLook at the meta scores, Division is pub stomping Destiny by critics and average players alike. Averaging >10/100 points higher if you average everyone's scores together. IGN is in bed with Activition, it's no secret. They give anything by Activision high scores. They gave CoD:AW an 8.7. That game is regarded as maybe THE worst CoD game ever made, and CoD isn't even a great series. So no wonder they give Destiny's biggest competitor low scores. Tl;dr IGN is trash. Look at the meta scores. Division is raeping Destiny right now and it's only going to get worse with the huge slew of content updates coming very very soon.
