8 Replies[i]7th grade, I was afraid of black people. About 3/4s of my school was black. I find $10 on the ground, pull a "tying my shoes and grab". I hear this hot black chick complaining about how she just lost $10. I wanted to make some friends, she had good connects in my classes. I go up to her and tell her I found it, and handed it to her. She was super happy and tried to hug me. I, being afraid of black people thought she was going to hit me and prepped for the attack, many people were watching. She, and everyone else thought I was gay for a while after that, and I couldn't tell them "She was black, I thought she was going to hit me." I didn't try to challenge it, I'd rather be called gay than a racist at an almost all black school.[/i]

I often day dream out the window, and we had a British girl transfer to our school a few years ago. (Same grade) Well she was put next to the window and thought I was creeping on her the first year, she didn't do anything about it at the time. Fast forward to now. Same situation and now she is creeped out with me because of it and when ever I try to explain she doesn't listen. And to top off this cake of awkward I caught her just staring at me out of the corner of my eye today.[spoiler]Plz kill me.[/spoiler]

We taught our 12th grade science teacher how to say "pattern" correctly. He pronounced it as "patterin" or something. He was born in the US and lived here his whole life too.

1 ReplyWhen you are walking through a doorway and another person is walking towards you and when you try to go through the doorway and you try to turn to the right to go around them but they go the same direction and the same thing happens multiple times. It is the most awkward when it is with someone of the opposite gender (assuming you are straight)

Sophomore year in college, I'm in the communal bathroom half-naked brushing my teeth, drunk at about 2am. My creepy neighbor who obviously had a crush on me comes in and asks what I'm doing later that night... I said sleeping. I made sure my doors were locked that night. He was later arrested apparently for watching CP in one of the school's computer labs.
