How is a 170 Ice Breaker even killing me in trials when light level "matters"? I'm 313 so that Ice breaker should barley scratch me. You take away special at beginning and people resort to this. The Ice breaker AA (aim assist) is pretty high as well so it's not fair at all when I'm stuck with a primary in the first rounds and I'm getting popped by a 170 ice breaker because it regenerates ammo.

The snipers you are describing aren't the snipers most people are complaining about. I have no problem with campers, my colovance's duty makes quick work of them. If anything it just makes matches really boring when you can't find half the team because they're all cowering at the back of the map waiting for me to run in front of them. My problem is the sniper rifle mechanic itself. This game by far has the easiest most kid friendly sniping I've ever seen. - no sway - very little flinch - scopes that add aim assist - perks that make drawing / aiming lighting fast, on top of already having a very quick draw/ aim animation. Did I miss anything? Because of this snipers are being used like primaries, in place of primaries. People are leisurely running around the map sniping at all distances. From close, mid and long ranges. This I feel is the main problem people are having with the current mechanic of snipers. Are there some that are just being crucibabies and just crying because they can't out snipe their opponent, yes of course. But that's just noise. When I see posts like that now I just dislike and hide the post. These poor forums are absolutely overwhelmed with nerf posts, which in turn makes it nearly impossible to have any form of serious discussion on weapon balance or mechanic issues. For every cry baby posting about nerfing there are 20 quick to bump the pointless waste of space post by telling him /her to "git gud scrub". Here's an idea, if you see a stupid post that you think is a waste of precious forum space DONT RESPOND! If no one responds it'll die and we won't have to suffer it being in public view for a week. Ugh. Wow, looks like I went off on a rant here, sorry about that haha. Anyway those are my thoughts on sniping, since you asked haha.

Those that complain about sniping are typically the type that run straight through a choke point and don't use any sort of evasive movement. They're used to running a specific path and as soon as they meet resistance they immediately place blame on the sniper. They don't think about what they can do differently. They will run repeatedly to the same spot to challenge that sniper and lose consistently because they refuse to adapt. Proving that the human race is an evolutionary blind alley.

Because sniping takes 0 skill

You run sniper yourself so can't really comment. Most complaints about sniping come from shotgunners. Shotgunners hate snipers and snipers hate shotgunners.

Because flanking with a shotgun no longer works with the nerf to movement and readying speed, coming up with a primary still allows the sniper to notice you and shoot you while being shot, flanking with a super allows them to hear you and can no scope your head off. These are all just one sniper scenarios and not even all of them! Now imagine it with half a team... Also conceder the fact that primarys time to kill is slow, shotguns nerf, and fusions nerf!

Its not only the camping snipers that are the issue, though seeing 6 red dots when you start an IB match is annoying. Its the fact they are able to use the damn things like a shotgun that are causing the issues.

Because every other weapon as been nerfed. People cried nerf over shotguns that happens now sniper players are defending snipers. No one to blame apart from people who wanted shotguns nerfed

Okay, when your playing iron banner and want to have fun with your bros, but you come too find a 6 man team all with midas and snipers, who sit in the back since there is no objective. Theres no point too move up, they all post up in every hallway, headglitch, and ridiculous spots just too snipe? And get what. 12 kills by the end of game, i use a plan c and get 20-35 kills 90% of the time. It gets very boring and irritating when people dont have enough skill too win a legit gunfight, so they result to sniping and camping which is no fun in my opinion. Im not saying nerf them, i just want more guns used. I kinda wish shotguns were op again, they were not as bad as sniping now and days

Yea i think ppl are salty about shotgun nerf still... as a sniper myself one thing i would like to see is on headshots with a primary snipers should be kicked out of thier scope

a sniper should not be able to Quick scope head shot or no scope head shot in point blank range. That should be impossible. Hip fire should not be accurate. That is all from me.
