Seriously, I'm having a great time. Whether I win or lose, it's ~5 minute games of high intensity firefights. I haven't run into this many cool players since I was looking for friends to do VOG.
I was genuinely surprised to see so much hate. I would've thought you guys would be excited about new content. I haven't had this much fun on Destiny since the Prison of Elders was released.
What's the best gear you've gotten?
Anybody who says the Valentine shader is just a slightly different God of War hasn't seen it on a Warlock with the Voidfang Vestments. Absolutely beautiful.
I'm seeing a lot of people wishing that the event was PvE related instead. Besides upgrading the old raids, what are some PvE events that you can think of? I'm seeing a lot of complaints without any ideas of ways to improve it. It's easy to say "we want PvE content not PvP!" But what exactly do you want? Upgraded raids are still rehashed content. I want to see some new ideas.

And I see you are just another blind fanboy when you said it was new content. How are the same maps, same weapons, and same drops new content?, and don't say it has new gear, reskinned gear is the same as it's counterpart.

In Elder scrolls I believe they have daily boss type characters that drop decent loot? In WoW they had a world pvp area with battles very few hours, the holders of which would get access to a raid style boss that dropped decent loot. The more PVE orientated player really wants access to high light level loot that they are currently prevented from getting in PVE. For example, you can get a 320 chest piece from the raid in hard mode, you can do this 3 times a week so that gives you 9 chances give or take boss loot tables. You cannot get them in Nightfall. Iron Banner was dropping stuff at 320 light level all week, you could get it as a random reward for simply partaking in a battle even if you did nothing but wrap an elastic band around your control sticks and spin on the spot. Say 15mins a match to be conservative, 4 matches an hour would be 8 matches in a 2 hour stint 7 days a week and that is 56 chances of getting a 320 item. Maybe they just want some -blam!-ing parity? Progressive I know.

The only stuff I got that wasn't immediately broken down were the two shaders and the one emblem. Everything else was weapon and armor parts.

I only played 1 match, took me like 2 hours to get someone to play and he disconnected >.<... i dont know if you are new, but theres a lot of posts about PvE ideas, so take your time to look after them, some of them are very cool ideas.

I've been enjoying it....a buddy and I played last night and went 18-7...neither have played much destiny over the past month so we lost our first 3-4 games re-acclimatizing to the game. Having said that we did not see one ghost shell drop in 25 matches and I was reading that some YouTubers had played for 9 hours and did not see one drop either....not sure what the drop rate is but I'm sure Bungie is going to come out saying the drop rates are bugged as per usual.

10 RepliesUpgrade poe with taken rounds. Or for something fresh and worth doing for viable raid skills is adding a damn weekly jump challenge. Doesn't seem to impossible with how Much there is in Destiny to find a couple locations you can tweak to add disappearing platform or even something like the ships. I know so many people to struggle through because they are practiced jumpers. I played kingdom hearts for years so Destiny jumping is cake. But there's a new idea for you on simple pve content. They could even make a new poe style arena with ttk bosses and more of a ttk likely the dreadnaught style arena (seeing how it is a flying prison) could yield some really unique arenas to do the battles. The hive could be in the dark blade room all dark. The cabal could be where shield bros are no cover and stuff like that. Not that hard and this was just off the top of my head.

1 Reply7/10. I've had fun. Rewards could be better. Won 10-12 on my first character. Completed all bounties in 2 hours. Might revise my score after other characters are complete. Gonna run my hunter through tonight. Hope rewards get better. Not complaining to much I did get an exotic helm for my Titan but I'm 311 and it dropped at 290.

Yeah dude, my friend and I are loving it! It's actually a great place to try new load outs. For instance, I discovered yesterday exactly how much the Reflection Sum melts enemies. Considering using it in trials.

I played with random forum folks last night and had a blast. We were just bounty hunting and finished all of them. Had some solid runs and some rough patches but it was quick paced and a good time even when getting are arse handed to us

5 RepliesWhat part is new content? Same maps. Same rewards as regular pvp. 2 Ugly shaders and an ugly ghost? I'm glad there's people enjoying it. I'm tired of the laggy pvp environment in Destiny. Yesterday I fist of havocked a guardian while reviving his teammate and they both walked away from it. And no, I don't have a laggy connection. PVP servers are horrible. When there's a pvp activity that everyone is playing, they get even worse. If people on here can't acknowledge that, then they're blind. Good luck to those of you who plan on grinding for a 320 ghost. I sure as hell will not suffer through it.
