Last 3 games I've played everyone sits in the base while the spark spawns. Everyone sits in the base when heavy spawns. Everyone just sits in the base and camps for kills because you're all CoD brainwashed and care about your petty KD ratios instead of winning the -blam!-ing game. Pussies.

Rift is a garbage playlist.i wanted to grind ib for a 320 ghost..not going to be able to do that.. Tried to get a quick match in on lunch break just now. Lost two game.i need one more win with my Titan to be rank 5 i cant do it..i hate rift .but the nirwins mercy as a rank 5 package will ease the pain if i get it. Lol

There's nothing to stop you getting kills while running the spark, you don't have to rely on your team to so it for you.

No, the problem with IB is matchmaking and level enabling preventing the more casual PvPer from having any form of balanced, competitive experience. Bungie refuses to match larger fireteams, who, if they're half decent, always pubstomp randoms. And, even though they label it an end game activity, the only way to get high enough light is to have levelled up with raid or trials gear. So really it's not an end game experience at all. So after grinding all week you end up with inferior gear at lower light levels. Why should someone 310-plus even want to buy gear at 280? How is that end game? What a load of BS. This game's fast making me lose the will to live let alone play. What with the recent insufferable lag I can't wait to find another game to switch to.

I've played with fire teams that still won't go for grabs. I refused to grab the spark one round and the entire team got 0 carries.

Getting heavy is much easier during rift so I don't know what you're taking about. I can honestly say that for the most part, most people are trying to get the spark. There will always be pussies who crouch down and hang back, looking for cheap kills though. You know who you are.

6 RepliesSo many times playing solo I'm the only one escorting the runner. Everybody else hanging back, camping with their snipers. Grabbed the spark once and found myself heading to the rift w/out any backup. I died of course. One person posted in a reply how rift works. Your runner needs wings (players ahead and around him) escorting the runner as they absorb the damage instead of him. Meat shields. Sure it's going to affect your k/d but it's how rift should be played.

This!!! We have to make a choice in this playlist, k/d or victory. I for one prefer victory. If I can grab that spark to keep it away from my opponents, I WILL. You only need one person to stay at the back and play defense, everyone else should be at the front lines.

It is not a team game unless you go in with a pre made. People play for kills 90% of the time.

The problem is a heavily fireteam centric mode, and on top of that the -blam!-ing piece of shit matchmaking system always putting fireteams of 5-6 against six randoms. -blam!-ing make those 5-6 person teams wait for another 5-6 person team to play against. Anyone that's been playing any kind of rift IB knows there's -blam!-ing plenty of fireteams to pit against eachother - but no, the retarded ass MM stacks 6 randoms against those fireteams, and most blue retarded mother-blam!-ers don't have the sense to turn on their goddamn voice chat

6 RepliesIt seems that just about everyone is having a completely different experience with Rift as Iron Banner. Some good, some bad, as you can tell from these forums. I run it solo which makes for some pretty random games and outcomes. I'm pretty average at PvP in general, some good games, some bad, I don't give a -blam!- about my KD, but love it all the same, however I do prefer Control or Clash. I thought Rift would be awful as IB and was reading up on all the negativity before it started, but I thought I'd give it a go yesterday and I have to admit it, it's got me hooked and I think it's made a fun change. It's just my opinion. I played 19 games and was on the winning side 13 times. (That don't usually happen in IB what with their 50% win ratio) A few times I got annihilated and a few times I did the annihilating but I managed to ignite the opposing rift around 14/15 times. I have to admit I found it really easy to do so too, but there were also many games where I simply couldn't even get near the spark! All I'm saying is people should take it for what it is, enjoy it for what it is and stop moaning or go play something else. I for one will be making my way to Rank 5 as I always do and I'm looking forward to it. No salt please, I'm trying to watch my blood pressure.

2 RepliesAn easy way to fix crucible - make the person who gets the Objectively Correct medal guaranteed something awesome. That way these people who are obsessed with their K/D ratio won't just sit in the far corner with a sniper and camp the entire map.
