Rush B. There's no need for everyone to cap the flag where you spawn. Fight for B early and you'll net more points in the long-run.
Don't triple cap ever! The name of the game is CONTROL. Leave the enemy a flag to spawn so you know where they are. If you push too far they'll spawn behind you and/or your teammates will get shot in the back, spawns will flip and confusion will set in.
Save your super for heavy round to either attack a heavy spawn point or defend one. Also, WAIT for your teammates. You'll win more games if more of your teammates have heavy ammo. But don't be a dumbass and wait too long to get nova bombed. Use your head.
Don't use your teammates as bait. I've seen plenty of guardians watch a gunfight and clean up an easy kill. Team shot every chance you get. Assists are just as good as kills.
Don't feed the enemy. If you ran through a choke point and got domed by a sniper. Choose a different path, slide around corners and avoid snipe lanes. Snipers hate being flanked, so flank them.
Rushing shotgunners can be annoying. Avoid close quarters whenever you can and make them chase you. Chances are a teammate will put some shots on him and you can set up a quick snipe when the turn the corner. Also, if a player is crouched in a corner with a shotty don't challenge unless you have a shotgun yourself. Let him sit there all game.
Hope this helps. I'm an ok player that plays solo 99% of the time. Let's all work together to get some good loot.

For those who dont want to play IB but want cool shit, play on the last 2 days, you can get to rank 5 in a couple hours. Once one character is there jump on another character and 5 medallions will turn into like 2000 rep or something ridiculous on the last day. Complete a 500 rep bounty and youll get something like 4500. Easy.

3 Replies1. Join game, enemy team is up by 10k 2. Sit down, have a free medallion 3. Continue joining doomed games and earning medallions 4. Collect 5 medallions 5. Get a team or go all out, cash in all 5 6. Reach rank 5 7. Tell yourself your never playing iron banner again 8. Repeat next month

IB strats for solo players: 1. Git gud
-
Solo or group there is no difference.
-
2 RepliesYou forgot the most important point. If you have A and the enemy have B and C don't just run into B like a set of muppets and get slaughtered. Instead go for C as 90% of the time everyone is at B expecting an easy kill.

Great tips. Somethings I kinda knew but would forget in the heat of the moment. Thanks for the focus. Anymore would be greatly appreciated guardian.

4 RepliesI die a little inside when I'm the only one rushing B.
-
2 RepliesYou get more points for however many players are standing on a point. In the beginning, if everyone caps the first objective, they will get more than the other team of 2-4 people capping.

Tips for solo players: the number of storm callers on your team directly correlates to your chance of victory.

7 RepliesEdited by iMoto Bro: 12/31/2015 7:11:12 PMThe only tip for solo players: prepare to lose a lot, regardless of how well you play. Just accept it. And prepare to be put in a lot of games in progress too.

Good stuff.

Just earlier today, I started a match and saw my team was 5 hunters using 1000 yard. Needless to say, I had 7 captures, nearest guy had 2. I cry inside.
-
I approve this message.
-
My strategy is always only, be faster than the other guy.
-
My entire team rushed b and after a minute or so I decided to go and capture our starting zone
-
Stay away. That's the only advice I have.

How to play solo: carry your team every time If playing a team of 3 or more, wave after you kill one of them Keep your zones controlled Clog up the feed with your mad skills, snipes, and sprees If playing with an elitist douche in your party (not solo, but this happened) proceed to do the following: 1.) when he complains that weapons or classes are OP, point out that he is using what he is complaining about 2.) say that you think 1kys is bad, prompting his response of, "that's because you suck" 3.) safely at the bottom of the leader board, switch to your best load out (TLW and weylorans march for me) and proceed to wipe the floor with everyone and get a 15 kill streak. Laugh at his amazement 4.) end the game with 2x his points at the top of your team, apologize for doing so poorly, and leave

2 RepliesAlso, if the opposite team got heavy, do not try to counter it with your super unless you're absolutely sure you can take out some people with it. Rocket launchers will come out of nowhere and you might be caught off guard. Hell, they can even get you even if you don't see a red dot near you. Save your super for when everyone is out of heavy and looking for cover. Stick with your team if you can!! Going solo against a (possibly-organized) fireteam is pointless. If your team is going for C but B is wide open, stick with them. Sure, you can try and steal a zone by yourself but if the entire opposite team is sticking together and they get you before you can claim the zone, it will be pointless. Trust me, I've died plenty of times like that. And yes, I realize it can be frustrating if you get teamed up with people who don't go for zones... Don't push/block your teammates! If you see someone sniping, don't walk in front of them. Instead, provide cover. If you see someone taking cover, don't huddle up next to them; one of you will be pushed out of cover and will get killed. I cannot stress this enough. I've had tripmine grenades hat have bounced back at me because someone walked in front of me and I've been pushed off ledges into the abyss by teammates.

Another tip, if you have both a super and heavy ammo, use your super. If you use your heavy correctly after that, you'll end up with quite a bit of super already charged. (aka more easy kills)
-
1 Replyyou only need 2 people to rush B one match both teams had the same idea so 1 guy stayed behind at their spawn while 4-5 of is from each team rushed B, but no one wanted to go in, so we exchanged all grenades before firefight broke out was hilarious
-
3 RepliesOnly tip I have is to not keep rushing an opposing team that has heavy. My number one annoyance.
-
I can't stand when we've gotten like half way to winning, and my team pushes there only flag. I immediately start freaking out because idk where they will be coming from lol. It's control, not hold all the zones to win.

Thanks :)
