How could TLW problem be fixed without a nerf?

2 RepliesThe weapon isn't a problem, it's the maps that suck. Most maps are super tight with a few sniping lanes so weapons like TLW prevail. Maybe if Bungie went by there own patch notes I would use more auto rifles but having to put half a clip into someone who's gonna one shot you with a shotty is pointless.

I've not had any problem wit this gun at all. I don't use it, but I can still counter it just fine.

13 RepliesLoose special ammo on death and spawn in with none. Everyone running tlw is running a sniper for range. Limit their ability to compete at range and they will drift to other primaries.

Buff auto rifles and traditional HC's. It's real strength comes form the fact that nothing really competes with it in the close mid. So change that.

No Fan Fire while ADSing. It makes it easier to be a little more accurate with your shots while ADSing, and it doesn't affect players like me who don't aim.

The gun is still somewhat a[b]s[/b]s. The bullets hardly register.

I haven't used TLW since yr1 so I can't say how it is at the moment m. I also haven't seen very many in the crucible at all either, probably because I use scouts most of the time, I love them. But from what know TLW is a close quarters duelling style gun which means at close quarters it should be VERY deadly! now if you can still snipe with it from mid to high range then yea it needs a fix. A tip is be nimbly bimbly once in its range. It usually has high recoil also try and land some shots to throw his aim off as well otherwise if you know TLW is in the lobby stay far out son

4 RepliesTLW is fine where it is. It can't cross map anymore, and the 111 headshot bug is fixed. Anyone getting good range out of it knows how to use it. I doubt Bungie will nerf this again. You guys really want another Hawkmoon incident? That gun is no longer viable. I guess Bungie loves to make their own intellectual property worthless.
