How?
Edit: thank you everyone who actually gave me a legitimate response that pertains to the topic. There may be intelligent life in these cancerous forums after all.

I don't see the issue with it, it excels at what's it's designed to do and that's CQB. It's also not performing at the old YR 1 standard for accuracy and range meaning that it's not a get out of jail card for bad / average gamers like it used to be (and Thorn) and cannot cross map someone. I still think it requires a degree of skill to use effectively, is only 'OP' on super tight maps and when it's being used at its intended range - close. It's also one of the handful of weapons that can compete with a shotgun rusher.

1 ReplyThere is nothing wrong with TLW.

Why do people always find something to complain about? You weren't complaining a couple weeks ago before the patch were you? This weapon has remained a t1 gun in sweats and trials since 2.0 dropped now every blueberry equips it and it's suddenly op. If I see someone using it they're either sweaty try hards or casual blueberries on that steph curry bandwagon.

Delete it

it's meant to be strong close quarters and yes maybe sometimes I feel like it tears thru me a little fast but I wouldn't change it, it's not game breaking and as long as I stay away I beat it with mida

Making it be removed

1 ReplyThe last word is fun the way it is. With the magazine size being what it is, it takes half a magazine or more to kill someone. The damage is already less per bullet compared to other Handcannons to compensate for the high rof. In my opinion it does not need a "fix" or a nerf. I present this to you in the most respectful way possible.

There isn't a problem with the last word.

2 RepliesThe gun was intended to be hip fired. Remove ads on the weapon. Replace trigger responses. RT/R2 - Fan Fire LT/L2 - Single Fire
-
2 RepliesReduce the fire rate just a bit, or decrease the stability while adding some range so that way it actually takes a skilled hand to use
-
4 RepliesOne way to fix tlw... BRING THORN BACK!!!!!
-
I do t find it a issue? I seem to do fine with my auto rifle and strafing on them
-
Nothing. Gun is fine as is. The only thing I would get behind is reducing the range a tad bit. That's all.

2 RepliesFix fusions
-
Don't make it a year3.

Remove ADS.
-
3 RepliesRemove ads with the weapon. Allow it to only hip fire like it's meant to be used

Were you around for the domination of hand cannons? I mean...it actually feels good but not OP now. Get close enough and you'll get rekt every time. That's pretty much the idea.
-
Better than asswipe hanging off your belt.
-
People just don't know what to do against last word it's meant for close range stay back and you'll be golden, jump on top him? You get smacked
-
Get good?
Problem solved.
10 RepliesEdited by Cashcar: 12/19/2015 11:54:49 PMWhat problem? Beat everybody using it in trials this week with my grasp of malok.
-
There is no problem with it. It kills fast up close with the range of a low range auto rifle. Any change to it would just make it a completely different gun. That's why they made the First Curse.
-
I say actually boost auto rifles. You can't balance it completely but a suros v tlw should be 50-50 from the same or closer range now its no contest.
-
The range nerf is effective, I've walked backwards while getting headshots with a scout rifle and out gunned many a last word.

We need less people crying nerf and more people trying to just play and counter it. I hate using TLW but I dont see it being a problem at all if others choose to. Sure I have been killed by it but it's not even annoying since I have had my fair share of good guns. However right now I have no "go to". RD is allright and mida is ok but I'm still figuring out what to use. I love the monte carlo now with the buff but haven't found a favourite yet. My suggestion to your question would be for Bungie to simply stop berfing everything and just buff all else. I know people will be like: yeah thats the same thing as nerfing stupid! Yupp pretty much is but it has a more positive ring to it;-)
